I want to thank Red, Mrs Red, Tom & Klaas for all they do but I see the games that are being played by some former posters and some who still occasionally post here, and it is very difficult to watch what they are doing.  SM has stayed above the fray and for that, I am very thankful for the integrity of this site.

I have made many friends here, who have allowed me to come into your homes, and you have been in my heart and prayers, and it is amazing how many people are trying to use this family who wants nothing but justice for their daughter and yet the users are able to capitalize on the situation while making the family look bad.

SM has done a great job. I wish that I could continue here but it is hard to separate the wheat from the chaffe, and I wish not to continue but wish Beth, Jug and Dave the very best in the future.  I will always read Red's front page whether it is about Natalee or about politics.

I will always remember each of you, but the time has come to loose myself of this and let the chips fall when the truth emerges.

Tyler...  what happened????

I hope you're not leaving!

Tylergal - Please don't do this.  It's hard for everyone right now.  We need you to stick here with us!

Klaas!  What happened?  Why is Tyler upset with here?

Tyler, we can't loose soldiers like this.  It's going to take each and every one of us to find justice for Natalee and her family.  We need you, and I think we'd be doing you an injustice to allow you to simply up and leave...

Look, we all become disenchanted from time to time.  With adversity comes tolerance.  Without it, the impossible stay impossible.  You must not allow frustration to cloud your judgements.  You must pick yourself up...dust yourself off...say a few curse words, and get back on the bike.  And, like I said earlier...this war cannot be won without keeping the collective in tact.  And Tyler...you are part of the collective.

I ask you to reconsider.  If not for me, then for Beth, Dave, and Natalee.

Strike

Yeah to everything that Strike said, Tyler.

Katz - I think Tylergal wasn't feeling very well today.  She will be back, I think she just needed to vent.  The last few days have been trying for all of us.

TylerGal;
I have received unsolicited emails also. Not recently, but I do not believe that anyone that is a regular over at BFN or here did that. There are all kinds of vile people on these boards.  And you are not one of them.
You have added something that is good here. I can be reached via email thru my profile and I have not received any weird stuff from anyone here.
Having said that, it could have been from one of those " new " members over at BFN. I have a Yahoo account that I use sometimes. I felt I had to do that. You could delete all your stuff from BFN, get HotMail, Gmail or Yahoo and then it doesn't come into your regular email.

Regarding the email "circulating" from BFN, even though my name is mentioned, I did not receive the email. I tried to register over there because I wanted to read but because of a computer glitch, I couldn't. A few weeks ago, Debbie emailed me and had the problem worked out and I was registered. I went over there ONE time, read for five minutes and left. I didn't post there. This is the only place I post. And how in the world did I get on that porn email list?

I find Debbie to be a VERY FINE person and very helpful.

Louise ~ Klaas emailed me that you had a question on prayer for me one day last week ~ she asked me to email you...

I did...

And I've never heard back from you...  Are you getting my emails, honey?

I HAVE A REQUEST REGARDING OFF TOPIC CONVERSATIONS:

Some is to be expected especially when there's no news in the case.  But if the topic is about anatomy or medical problems, or former posters - please create a thread in the Monkey Lounge to discuss.  If you have pictures of your house/car/sock monkeys/cats etc, please start a thread in the Monkey Lounge.  You are welcome to post a link to that thread in the LCD.  Let's try to keep the LCD as much case related as possible.

Also, when there is news and we have a guest like Dana posting let's please try to be respectful of his time and stay on topic.

I know we can't be on topic all the time and expect off topic when times are slow.  Let's just try to take as much of it as we can to the Monkey Lounge. The hellos and how's the weather are fine and to be expected.

One more thing, whether you like it or not...I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE. I'm staying until we have resolution in this case and most likely beyond that.

I totally agree!!  And, WE are so glad you are staying!!   Laughing

Mishy, are you the one that got into the mailbox at BFN by mistake?  I am wondering how this "Harrison Ford" even knew I had registered at BFN as I have not posted there.  Certainly have never made my email public.  I don't even use PM so am trying to figure out if BFN has a major hacker breach.

Klaas, and all of you who are so computer savy, any ideas?

No, Appeals. I remember reading this weekend that someone had gotten into a BFN mailbox, maybe a PM mailbox for sensible (who I had never heard of before then...), but I don't remember who it was. Maybe Klaas can do a search?

That is very curious Appeals...Have you spoken to BFN about the fact that you've never posted and didn't make your email public and still got the HFord email? That's frightening!!!

It was Memphis...

Murphy says regarding police/Couey:

Couey was chatty, on and on, got his miranda rights - told him a right to remain silent and an attorney - didn't ask for attorney until they asked about the polygraph.
