TESTS THAT CAME BACK FROM THE NETHERLANDS SHOW THAT THERE IS NOTHING AS EVIDENCE. Materials were sent from car and apartment of Joran

Yes I have a opinion on the car and blood, i believe it was blood and someone falsified the report to protect the boys, I think had it just been Deepak he would have been hanging already but since joran was involved the lies began

In Congressman Bachus' press conference in Dec '05 he mentioned  someone in the ALE who categorized and detailed all "evidence."  Wouldnt you love to see that list and their version of "evidence."

I think items were sent to Holland but what items?  I'd be willing to bet the pieces from the cars that were sent to Holland and the FBI weren't out of the suspects cars.  How does blood turn into chocolate and cleaning fluid.

Same with the hair and duct tape.  How do we know what was actually sent?

Everything that the ALE admits to sending to Holland comes back negative as evidence.

The chocolate/cleaning fluid spots from the car, the Skeeter video tape, the hair on the duct tape.

I'd like to know what happened to the stuff they took from the house (the computer, camera, and whatever else they took)  Why havent we ever heard anything about that stuff?  What other evidence did they destroy I mean collect?

Actually, the only thing Holland said about the Skeeters tape was that the Dr. Phil version was edited for the program.  That's all they said.  They never said the copy of Skeeters hard drive was edited or false.

I dont know what's up exactly but they seem scared and crazed, more than usual.  Attacking posters with the most vicious assaults--the kind they usually reserve for the family.  I suspect a favorable decision for the family will be handed down soon from Kapnick.  They're in full-press "Julia can do no wrong" mode, so I wonder if someone knows that she really was paid by polis.

ORANJESTAD-Arubans who have recently travelled to the US to spend
their vacation remarked that they have seen little to no promotion of the
island in that country. They have seen visible promotion from other
countries in Latin America and the Caribbean who are offering attractive
special deals to US travellers. Mainly Jamaica, St. Maarten, Barbados,
Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic are often seen.

Arubans are concerned that not much is being done to promote the island
in the US which is the island's main generating market. US arrivals to
Aruba fell by 17.7 percent in the first quarter of 2006 according to the
statistics released by Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA). Most other
destinations in the Caribbean are experiencing robust growth in tourists
arrivals from the US this year.

According to Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association (AHATA) an amount of
$13 million is required to aggressively promote and polish the image of
the island in the US. Both ATA and AHATA have approached the Ministry
of Tourism to have the extra money allocated. Nevertheless ATA and
AHATA are trying their utmost with the means that they have to promote
Aruba.

Aruba's Marketing and PR machine is known to be one of the most
aggressive amongst Caribbean destinations promoting themselves in the
US market. Not only is Aruba known to promote itself aggressively,
AHATA, ATA and partners also do so very effectively. Many Caribbean
destinations look up to Aruba as the island often comes with new creative
and effective marketing techniques that ultimately lead to substantial
growth in US travellers. The only obstacle now is additional funding from
the government.

The reason I think items were sent is because they have said many times they have been.  I would hope the NL would speak up if Aruba were lying about sending anything at all.

I spotted something that sheds some light for me on the civil suit, I think. The article refers to Catharine MacKinnon, an attorney who champions women's rights.

Representing a group of women who had been raped during the Bosnian conflict, in a case called Kadic v. Karadzic, she employed a little-known American law, the Alien Tort Claims Act, which allows plaintiffs to file civil suits against foreign citizens in US courts, provided that the defendant can be served on US soil. Previous users of the statute had been isolated individuals.

It's funny (aboput that Skeeters tape)...when it was making the rounds on all the SMS shows...the Aruban critics of the tape (the lovely Arlene, for example) spoke only to the fact that the Dr Phil version was edited.  Duh!!  Of course it was edited...for time, that is!  I've never heard one thing spoken on any of those shows about the version which existed on the HD...

F that noise!  I think I'd much rather vacation somewhere much more wholesome and family oriented!  You know...somewhere the kids can play without fear of corruption!  It's a little place I like to call...LAS VEGAS!!
