RE: Julia's statement....

It IS interesting that the version to police does not mention shoving or the baby in arms like the version she reported to Vanity Fair.

very good point lexie and one I had not thought of until you mentioned it. I only wish I had saved the tear-jerking posts bondia made about the damage to that baby  Rolling Eyes

I think for a caring mom, the first thought would have been the baby, not herself or anyone's language.

Bearly you are right.  My question is why was she traipsing around the island with an infant or toddler at 11 at night?

RED - JR owes you big time for uncovering the correct statement.

I fear we should not hold our breath awaiting that one Sleuth  Wink

I peeked in at RU when BFN posted the revised translation.  They were all saying that Julia must have lit into JQK!  Had to laugh..... Laughing

I saw that too Lexie, LOL  Laughing

Did you see the posts when BFN posted the first statement where they were discussing that it could NOT be authentic because there was no mention of the baby????  Had to clean the monitor after that one!  There are none so blind..... Laughing

Sunfreak2-

Good question, why is she all over these forums as well? Have we seen any other bonafide reporters insert themselves into this case on a daily basis all over the internet? How vested is she in the backstory of this case? I think very vested and perhaps with much to hide.

Protecting her...interests...would be my guess.

I would think the people with the biggest investment in this case would be Natalee's family, and I have not ever seen them on the internet trying to control the story.

Bearly-

Very well said.

It's interesting to read the interview between Scarborough and Paul Reynolds again, it's posted up at the arubadirtypolice. It is so obvious that the cover-up went into full damage control once that confession occurred.

One more post.  I just noticed this posted by Kermit at BFN:

LET'S PLAY CONNECT THE ARUBAN DOTS

Remember the picture of the van der sloot house with the furniture van and the name on the side of the truck read: DANA

Little background:
Elisa Lejuez is the WIFE of Chris Lejuez.

Chris Lejuez was the attorney that represented BOTH security guards when they were first arrested.
THEN Karen Janssen made him recuse himself and only rep one of the Security Guards. So, Noriannia Pietrez represented Mickey Johns.

Remember also Chris Lejuez is the brother of Helen Lejuez and Helen was hired by the Twitty family to rep them in Aruba.

Helen also is the attorney who represented Dompig's ex-wife in their divorce case.

Now, back to Elisa Lejuez.
Elisa moved to Aruba in 1999.

She is Chris Lejuez WIFE! And they have a baby.

She was commissioned by the Radisson Aruba Resort to paint 20 works for the Radisson AND the local furniture store DANA is selling several of her works in their showroom.

Speaking of Paul Reynolds...i was surprised to read that he was part of the group that went to the Sloots on the 1st night.

He would be a great guest to have on Dana's program.
