The phone call was made at the hotel TAC but received no response. According to the indictment against the Dutchman, it was aware of his actions

At 11:23 p.m. June 1, two days after the death of Stephany Flores, Joran van der Sloot were called to the hotel TAC, communication was transferred to her room, but was never answered.

Highness Max Navarro, attorney confessed murderer of Stephany Flores said he will wait the arrival in Lima of the Dutchman's family to break away completely from the case

Who will assume the legal defense of Joran Van der Sloot or whether this will be Peruvian or Dutchman, is a question that is now pending. Highness Max Navarro, attorney confessed murderer of Stephany Flores confirmed that the case be turned away because of threats he has received against him and his family.

IDK, I've been reading here a while and I have a real question. If Joron is such a liability to Aruba, ie making them look like the asses they are, hurting business, putting their whole country in the dump, wouldn't it just make sense, now that Paulus is gone to off him? If Joron was dead, Aruba could "find" Natalee, create a scenario where Joron "told" them where she was, but too bad he's dead now to challenge anything they say and life could start to go back to the way it was.
Aruba will always be the dirty little place I would never, nor allow my children to go to, but at least the innocent citizens, could go on, they don't have that ASS to worry about (until the next one comes along) and Beth would have her daughter back. It just makes sense to me. Why tank an entire country over one man who will never have control over his own actions?

While you are on the island, perhaps you'll have time to check into what was done with the remains removed from the crab trap by the Aruban divers on January 7, 2008.  Tim Miller has said that he was told by Aruban officials that tests came back to show they were male human remains.  Now, that goes to show they were indeed human remains I think, but were they really male?  And if so, who's were they?  Doesn't that person's family deserve to know what happened to their loved one?  So many questions - no answers.

Tim:  “Not really, not with the equipment that John Silvetti and Louis Schaefer have.  In fact, two years ago on December 30th we found a fish trap and we was almost positive it was Natalee’s body in the fish trap.  We dove on it along with the Aruban authorities and then they said they’ve got to contact the Netherlands to see how to preserve it and what to do with it, and we was all going to dive on it together.  The Aruban authorities dove on it and then six weeks later they said the DNA came back as a male.  So, did we find Natalee?  I don’t know.  It certainly looked like her clothes in that fish trap and again we know that the night Natalee disappeared the fishermen’s huts were broken into, a knife was stolen, the big fish trap was stolen, uh, and ironic we found one and I’ve actually got the pictures of that, you know, what certainly appears to be a body in that fish trap.  So, I don’t know.   

So Aruba law enforcement just tagged it as unidentifiable male remains and went on to writing parking tickets?

Jumping ahead, still have LOTS of pages before I catch up, but IIRC what the FBI ACTUALLY said was that the fabric they received doesn't match her BLOUSE.  Question is - what did they receive?

So Anita is scheduled to visit her spawn today as it is woman visiting day in Jail.  Wonder if this means that a woman does the cavity search?  Also Peru is still reporting that his Highest Maximus is only the lawyer until the Ditch Witch approves of the other lawyer. 

I hope there will be videos of the Ditch Witch entering jails and that the locals throw some fruit and veggies her way to adorn that lovely hair of hers (salad bar in a bush?).

I should have said that differently....some of us gradually stopped posting in Nat's thread....me included...I had given up that Natalee's remain would ever be found..when I would come back to the thread, I was lost most of the time......but I never lost the HOPE that Natalee would be found....I checked in  tried to look for some hope.....but usually left confused as hell.....but those that stayed, never giving up...plugging away daily....those are in my mind...the oldtimers....so I should have used a different term......HEROES perhaps..

I agree with Anna. Paulus' famous "no body no case" comment suggests to me that there is no longer a body to recover.  The fact that they're on an island makes disposing of it at sea just too easy. I believe at some point the body was made 'unrecoverable'... It would make no sense to me to bury a body on Aruba, risking being found out at some point, worrying every day, when the simplest solution is to put it in the water.  The garbage dump was another possibility, knowing that no one would be able to search the entire place.  I hope I'm wrong, but I'd be shocked if they ever recover anything.
