First off - I don't know this Jairo Vrolijk. Never heard of him. Someone got that confused. I was friend's with Armin - in real life - (and I'm not saying his last name simply cause he google's his name and I don't want any more of his crappy emails - you all know who he is)..

There was a Tito Vrilojk that committed suicide and Armin and I talked about it. There was nothing there. Aruba has a Suicide Prevention Week and who would thunk it - one happy island and all. But they do drink poison, they are not all that happy. Pantyboy has the last name Vrolijk too. He got the hell outta Aruba and is in Holland - who can blame him. He's a jackass - but not involved.

I think someone got Jairo Dierksen and he's buddy Gabe Leo all mixed up. Jario is from Colombia and he did live on Aruba at one time. They are related.

These Vrolijks are not Shango - and for the record - no one knows who Shango is. We all think and have suspicions.

I believe Shango is a US government employee - although I have no idea who.

 "last week" is not specified by date but surely they have found proof of a flight or some other hard copy of the date, and the tournament did not have a stop in Columbia unless it was for VDS to obtain more money for the buy in.
I think there was a mention in an email JVDs sent to another friend, female, on May 25 where he was begging for money that he said he would return double to her when he got back to Aruba...when she refused he told her another friend was lending him 100 or 200 euros ( John Ludwick ? who he hadn't contacted yet? )and he was getting money from his mother and she ( the friend )should forget about it and go on and be successful in life.
 ( something similar- he was writing her off )

So there are a few different friends that were contacted within the dates where, if he had $10,000 on the 10th, he was down to zero ( he says he is hungry and needs to pay for hotel room ) or close to broke by the 25th.

I also saw in his confession that he said he had a $6.000 gambling debt...do you think it is possible he paid someone off to arrange a quick get away maybe thinking in advance he may be caught?

I see a few Arubans dropped off the planet at that time too, Eric Zandaam ( heart attack) and Vrojlik ( 31, heart attack- not sure if there was a connection to the earlier case - NH ) and did Vroljik work for ATA..travel agency?

Just seeing if there is a possible connection to the ex Police , Vroljik, the dates of death, and Jorans departure.

The Passive Personality Principle of International Law

June 14) -- Joran van der Sloot, the young Dutchman charged in the killing of a 21-year-old Peruvian woman, could be indicted by U.S. authorities for the murder of Natalee Holloway, a legal expert tells AOL News.

According to Griffith, the passive personality principle of international law allows a country to prosecute someone who has killed or injured an American citizen in a foreign country. In essence, jurisdiction is based on the nationality of the victim and not the location of the crime.

"One example of that would be the Leon Klinghoffer case," Griffith said.

"The U.S. has secondary jurisdiction over van der Sloot because of the extortion case," Griffith explains. "Because of that, and statements he allegedly made on video, the U.S. now has reasonable cause to believe, I would ascertain, that he's responsible for the Holloway killing."

However, Griffith said van der Sloot's alleged statements, along with his previous confessions in the case, are enough for U.S. authorities to make a circumstantial murder case against him.

"Now is the time for the U.S., which has Department of Justice offices in Peru, to have a three-way meeting with officials there and van der Sloot," Griffith said. "This could be done now. Van der Sloot has already said he knows where [Holloway] is."

"Make the deal right now," Griffith continued. "Tell him, 'We have enough on you circumstantially already, but by the time you get out we'll have a lot more, and you'll never see the light of day again. If you know where the body is, tell us now, and we won't extradite you on a murder charge.'"

Whether authorities in the U.S. will invoke the passive personality principle is yet to be decided. However, Holloway's family is apparently anxious for answers. The Associated Press reported Monday that Holloway's father, Dave Holloway, is in Aruba and plans to meet with prosecutors today to see if they have received any new information about his daughter's disappearance.

On the second anniversary of Caylee Anthony's disappearance , the toddler's grandparents said they can identify with Natalee Holloway's mother, but not with the mother of suspected murderer Joran van der Sloot -- despite the murder charges against their daughter, Casey Anthony.

A judge in Peru officially has charged the young man with murder.



"I don't know if I can identify with Mrs. Van Der Sloot because her son has confessed to something," Caylee's grandmother, Cindy Anthony, said in an exclusive interview with "Good Morning America." "You know, there have been issues where she saw his angry side. I don't know that of Casey. I don't know Casey as being anybody that could hurt anybody."

I guess I am hearing what the Flores family says a little differently than some.  Mr. Flores says and his son translates that it is up to the justice system to deal with Joran and they will.  He will do anything he can to help Beth and to help find any information about Natalee they can.

I take that to mean that Joran will only be in the Peruvian system for justice and in that process, something helpful is hoped for Beth as well.  I don't see that as his being willing for Joran to go to Aruba at all.

I am relieved to see this.  Remember also that the Flores attorney is appealing for the Life Sentence.  I am so hopeful they will be successful in this endeavor.

And the Flores did as the BIG QUESTION.  Why didn't ARUBA do the same thing Peru did with the collection of evidence, video tapes, etc. 

Yes, Aruba's failure to collect evidence so they could prosecute is more glaring now than ever.  All one has to do is see what Peru did and compare.
