It’s finally time for Aruba to give Natalee back, Lord knows they covered this case up since the beginning. I, for one, want to apologize for all the destructive actions I have caused.

While you are on the island, perhaps you'll have time to check into what was done with the remains removed from the crab trap by the Aruban divers on January 7, 2008.  Tim Miller has said that he was told by Aruban officials that tests came back to show they were male human remains.  Now, that goes to show they were indeed human remains I think, but were they really male?  And if so, who's were they?  Doesn't that person's family deserve to know what happened to their loved one?  So many questions - no answers.

Tim Miller on Steph Watts’ blog talk radio show “Watts Up With This?”       

Steph:   “Tim Miller, other people are asking ‘are there any plans to search in the ocean?'  isn’t that like looking for a needle in a haystack in this case?" 

Tim:  “Not really, not with the equipment that John Silvetti and Louis Schaefer have.  In fact, two years ago on December 30th we found a fish trap and we was almost positive it was Natalee’s body in the fish trap.  We dove on it along with the Aruban authorities and then they said they’ve got to contact the Netherlands to see how to preserve it and what to do with it, and we was all going to dive on it together.  The Aruban authorities dove on it and then six weeks later they said the DNA came back as a male.  So, did we find Natalee?  I don’t know.  It certainly looked like her clothes in that fish trap and again we know that the night Natalee disappeared the fishermen’s huts were broken into, a knife was stolen, the big fish trap was stolen, uh, and ironic we found one and I’ve actually got the pictures of that, you know, what certainly appears to be a body in that fish trap.  So, I don’t know.   

So Aruba law enforcement just tagged it as unidentifiable male remains and went on to writing parking tickets?

I did hear the FBI said the fabric was not Natalee's

Just to be clear: 

The fabric Aruba sent to the FBI was not Natalee's.  Do you believe they actually sent the same fabric they recovered from the cage?

To give you a recap as to how things went down:
(1) Persistence comes to Aruba to search for NH. They are looking in ocean for cage/trap.
(2) They locate a cage/trap. Tim Miller/Kyle Kingman say "Boy, that surely looks like human remains in that trap that we located"
(3) CAPSLOCKWIZARD comes "out of the woodwork" and highly urges that body will be found in nearby pond. A total hoax and fabrication to distract.
(4) Tim Miller is deemed a liability. Dave is lured/coaxed into chasing down a lead in Nicaragua, from a (fake) tipster named Marcos.
(5) Kyle Kingman is told to STFU by Silvetti and Schaeffer, who (in most people's opinions) made a deal with the devil.
(6) Aruba police (in rubber dingy boat) dive cage/trap, recover its contents, then hastily flee the scene.
(7) The contents of the cage are never spoken of again, nor addressed.
( On board the boat (ironically) are all people suspected of covering the crime. Also, purse boy HansMos.
(9) A fabric, probably a torn dish rag, is sent to the FBI to be compared and tested to see if it is that of NH.
(10) Bet your sweet ass, the fabric recovered from the cage was not sent directly to the FBI for testing.

If anyone is not aware of Aruba and its magic tricks, look up the islands bestseller "When Blood turns into Chocolate" by colloborative authors, Dennis Jacobs and Jan VanDerStraaten. Then, look up the second best seller, written by Gerald Dompig called "Power Outage in Aruba: Silent Sonar." Might even look into their third best seller entitled "Clueless Casino Capo" by Michael Posner.

Hi Rob-

I am frustrated and worried but I also haven't seen anything to date from Peru, but swift and definitive action toward justice for Stephany's murder. Sometimes we have to rely on what people do and not what they say, I also don't think Aruba can or will push Peru to share anything they do not choose to. The measure of respect they have afforded Stephany's parents in this process is heartening and hopefully, that relationship will be beneficial for Natalee's case also.

At this point I am willing to trust Mr Flores to ensure he's watching over this not just for Stephany but also for Natalee.

I completely agree with this!!!

When it comes to finding the body of a child (to me she's a child), we should hold strong and PRAY that things will work out.  We all want to see Natalee brought home and I strongly believe that trusting the Peruvian authorities and Stefany's family will make that happen.  Stefany's father has said in many reports that his daughter was killed protecting Natalee.  I fully believe he'll follow through.  HOPE AND OPTIMISM.  Soon, Natalee will be home.  I firmly believe this.  As for Aruba, I'm hoping it sinks.

Joran van der Sloot remains without a lawyer

LIMA - The lawyer of the Dutchman Joran van der Sloot, who was detained in prison after confessing to the murder of a young Peruvian, announced Tuesday his decision to abandon the defense of Europe.

Maximum Highness The Peruvian lawyer reported that leaves the defense of Van der Sloot, due to "family problems" that has caused.

He said that only awaits the arrival of the family of the Netherlands in the coming days to get away altogether. "I have received threats, many threatening emails, I am an adult, I'm not for that," Highness told the AP.

It is unknown at the moment who will assume the defense of Van der Sloot.

The Dutchman admitted having killed the management student Stephany Flores, 21, on 30 May in the hotel room where he was staying where they were playing poker online.

Van der Sloot is also the main suspect in the disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005, the case was never solved.

Meanwhile, Judge Carlos Morales, head of the Fourth Criminal Court with Prisoners in jail, will take charge of the proceedings against Van der Sloot for the murder of Flores, reported The Associated Press on Tuesday Luis Garcia, a spokesman for the Superior Court of Justice Lima.

"The transfer of the case (Van der Sloot Judge Morales) must be between today and tomorrow," said Gallardo.

Ninfa Espinoza prosecutor said in his criminal indictment on Friday that Van der Sloot acted with "great ferocity and cruelty" by killing the Peruvian student.

Van der Sloot told police he killed her after he received a threatening email about the Holloway case that viewed on your laptop, and also saw Flores. He stated that by telling the girl some details of that story, she responded striking him in the temple, which was also assaulted him.

Flores's body showed strong blows to the face and head, and bruises all over his body.

The Dutchman was sent to the Prevention Pavilion Miguel Castro Castro prison, where there is the Trujillo Alejandro Ospina Colombian hit man, accused of killing a Peruvian entrepreneur. This flag is secluded from the rest of the inmates.

A source at the National Penitentiary Institute (INPE) who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press, told the AP on Tuesday that the Van der Sloot cell, 2 meters by 3.5 meters, is adjacent to that of Trujillo, and that they see television together in the cell of Colombia.

Do the majority of peeps that read/post here believe that the trap contained Natalee's remains?  Reading through posts of the past, it seems a great many believe that it did.  I am just curious in your opinion!  Thanks all

Robin Holloway - December, 2007

Dave is currently on his way home to Meridian. Beth is on her way back also. They met with the KLPD and OM yesterday. I guess there is a miscommunication between interrogation and questioning. They had a lot of questions for Dave and Beth in efforts to help Natalee’s case and dispel a lot of nasty rumours. Also, Dave and Beth had a lot of questions for them too in regards to Natalee’s case. The meeting went well and they are working hard, but we don’t know what will happen next and pray this water search will turn up something.
 
As far as Julia, we have stayed in contact with her and she truly does care for Natalee and wants to know what happened to her as much as anyone else. Dave was able to meet with Mark for a little while last night while he was there and had a nice visit. It is good to know they are still there and willing to help. Please know they are still there too for Natalee ....

Robin is not naive.......she is a real witch.....IMO...I was told from a very reliable source that she told him on more than one occasion that SHE WANTED HER LIFE BACK....Natalee was gone, he had 2 more daughters and he needed to move on. (she didn't bother to mention he also had a son) She said (not verbatim) that Beth caused many of the problems they had in Aruba......believe me she is not naive

I think that the majority of those who post here believe Natalee was in the cage/trap.
Those who didn't believe went away.....one way or another.....but many of them still read here.

Pages 187/189: After waiting months to find out what my statement actually says, Jug calls on my first day in California. He has finally been able to obtain the translation of my statement from prosecutor Janssen. The one the detective brought to me to sign late that night in the restaurant. And I trusted him, and signed every page.

“listen to this, Beth …” The words he reads echo in my head. I begin to sink, and could slide to the ground out of my chair. “Jug, they changed it. They changed my statement.”

I had carefully given intricate details about the encounter in the van der Sloot front yard the first night we got to the island, including names and physical descriptions. Now Paulus van der Sloot is described only as “the man with the glasses.”

Those are not my words.

Earlier we learned from the prosecutor that the statements from the two uniformed officers who were with us in the van der Sloot front yard that morning didn’t mention the sexual encounters described by Joran between Natalee and him. No mention of his sexual contact with her as she was falling asleep and walking up. No mention of his description of her underwear and genitalia. So the judge never heard about all that.

There‘s no way a police officer could stand there that morning, hear what Joran was saying, and fail to include these details in a statement. No way. In my opinion this information must have been deleted for the officers.

Page 182: The day after our talk with Ms. Flanegan, I had to go to the police staton to turn in the statement that I had given to Dennis Jacobs. He had given me a copy to go over with my attorney, Vinda. But, after looking at it, I realized that it was only a page and a half long and had little to do with what we had actually discussed the most …

I had spent a long time with Jacobs, and much of my interview was not in the statement.

When I went back to turn it in and discuss it with him, I was told that Jacobs was in with Jan van der Stratten.

Page 183: I commented to Jacobs about how short my statement was. He said that I could add anything I wanted to it. Also, I noticed that Eric Soemers’s name was on it, but that detective was not even present during the interview. Now I wondered if Jacobs was making up everyone’s statement and getting Eric to sign on to them. If that were the case, he could state anything he wanted, and it would look like an official statement made in front of a witness.

She has been living a hell on earth as well for the past 5 years & Dave does have 2 daughters with her, the oldest of which looks just like Natalee. i see them daily during the school year when I'm picking my granddaughter up at school & at school functions. I know them both. They are very sweet gentle people. I would imagine that they all wish they had their life back at certain times but that sounds like something that maybe should have been kept between her & Dave. That in no way would take away her love for Natalee. That just sounds like gossip & should be taken as such, but that's JMO FWIW

Mine?  I don't think it's fair (and that's as kind as I can be) that Robin Holloway not only tolerates, but befriends those who trash Natalee and Beth, have done so from the start - and continue to do so.
