Oh, this is SO Cool!!    ( I think this was from last year, but hey, what a great idea!)

Just this past weekend, shoppers at the the Macy's in Philadelphia (the old Wanamaker building) were surprised when over 600 choristers who were there mingling with regular shoppers suddenly burst into Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. It's pretty awesome.

The Opera Company of Philadelphia was instrumental in bringing it together to perform one of the Knight Foundation's "1000 Random Acts of Culture" which they'll be doing over the next three years across the country. Accompanied by the Wanamaker Organ - the world's largest pipe organ - the singers burst into song at exactly noon.

Since we are on the subject of babies      I am finally an Aunt!!!  I've been a grandma for 5 years now and am so proud to have a nephew, of course I made my sister put these monkey jammies on him.

This is Anderson (no not Cooper 360), he weighs 7 lbs. 2 oz and 12 20 inches long.

She was way too cute before, Klaas! Now she's got a smile that would melt an iceburg!! She's a sugar dumpling, for sure!

A she's adorable
B she's so beautiful
C she's a pocket full of Charms
D she's delightful
E she's exciting
F she's a feather in your arms!

(My Dad used to sing that to my son when he was a baby. I hadn't thought of it in years, but your little one and that smile brought it back............ she owns that song, Klaas!) Here's the rest of it:

G you look good to me
H you're so heavenly
I I adore you so
J we're like Jack and Jill
K you're so kissable
L you're the lovelight in my eye

M, N, O, P.......... I could go on all day
Q, R, S. T.......... Alphabetically speaking, You're OK

U make my life complete
V means you're very sweet

WXYZ
Oh, I love to go through
The alphabet with you
To tell you what you mean to me!

How precious is he!!! Oh, Jackie, I'm so envious of the babies! And what excellent taste you and he have! Maybe you could send Klaas some Monkey jammies for her grandbaby! She's not nearly so thoughtful about all us Godposters!!

He's adorable!!
