Some of the stuff that has happened while on vacation would not even happen to the Griswold's. 

Friends used to have a cabin right on the shores of Kootenay lake in BC.  We borrowed it one summer and it had to be the summer that there was forrest fires that surrounded the area right after we got there, we had to leave early as hubby is really allergic to smoke and could not breath.  As we were leaving the hot ashes were raining down from the sky and setting the clear coat on the vehicle we were driving on fire.  We always rent a vehicle when we go on vacation rather than taking one of ours, and the rental company always puts it up for auction when we are done with it.  The cabin slid into the lake a few months later after heavy rains and mud slides.

OMG!!  That is definitely no match for the Griswold's.

Hey Mission!
I am thinking of making a little flower bed at the corner of my property.....under a nice little shade tree.I need some advice.what goes good with a naked lady statue with her hiney sticking up in the air?You know know like kiss this.......

Hubby is highly allergic.....two birds with one stone!

He is on my chit list this morning.He'll be doing the grocery shopping,since I had to take the trash way down the road this morning.My neck/shoulder still is giving me problems,usually takes a few days to get back to normal.I have only a couple of pain meds to take.Grrrrr..........

Take it easy - I hope your neck and shoulder get to feeling better.

Hi Brandi, I could scream when the fridge and freezer door opens, and decisions, decisions are made about what to get out of there, doesn't take a couple minutes to figure it out, but it seems to.

LOL at you, Brandi and GreenEyes about this subject.  My husband does the same thing and it drives me crazy, when you open the fridge aren't you going in there for something?  Nooooo they just stand there and stare meanwhile letting all the cold air flow out.

I got booted so it may take me a while to catch up and I am going to do it as efficiently as possible lol.

Our new refrig beeps after a period of time being left open - lets me know when to yell at them!

LOL that is funny - I didn't know that they have that feature.  I will be wanting that on my next fridge.

Washer in done, I have to go get the laundry hung and then do some storm clean up.  Hope everyone has a a good  day.

I love it except when I am cleaning the dang thing out - then the beeper and I have a problem with each other!!!!

Made it back. Long morning. While I was reading trying to catch up and was laughing so hard.

You just don't know how much it was needed today.

I will for ever have a picture in my head of some little bird hanging from your front grill Northern Rose.

Trimm I think it's in the air with the men. They just don't have clue most of the time. LOL

Mission that's one thing my hubs is good about. His clothes always make to the hamper. I think that's his military time showing up.

NRCG  Am so glad your daughter has backed off about those dang lizards.

TBM That is cool about the frig beeping. But the way mine use it, I would have it going off all the time.

I know between Northern Roses stories and Trimm and her garden I was busten up. I am fine NRCG thank you.  Some times getting old sucks. LOL

Because the sun here in CA fades everything, I bought a new umbrella for the table up on the balcony. Instead of getting the 6.5 foot one I just noticed I bought the 7.5 umbrella  LOL  I guess that is better than a couple weeks ago a bought a bra only to put it on, and went why doesn't it fit? I not only bought the wrong size, but wrong cup size also  LOL

So have you started painting your bird houses?  I know when I was working and we sprayed painted things with the kids. I would wear rubber gloves. It should saved a lot of clean up an the hands.  One time I got this kit to make personal wrapping paper for them. Lets just say I had colored hands and my rings were hard to clean with the dye and what every else it used. So from then out we used rubber gloves. LOL

That's a great idea, I have a bunch of those throw away gloves I will use them when painting. Not yet I'm still doing some of the other things I need to do around here.

FYI - we are going to try putting back avatars and smileys hopefully some time today and see how the site does.  Also, the site will be down early morning Wednesday June 30th (we think) at around 2am ET for some updates to the forum software.  Hopefully it won't be down long.  This is NOT the new server upgrade.  I don't have a date on that yet.
