I've been in a couple fights myself but I was way younger and drunk, and I was only in my teens. Now I would probably break something in a fist fight.

We had a storm today at work. Went out to smoke with my friend and it started sprinkling. She made the comment, "go stand by that pole" when she saw lightening. We got inside before it started pouring. When we were leaving the condos across the street from the hospital were on fire. STRUCK by lightning. It was awful and I hope no one was inside when it happened.

How awful, I hope nobody was inside.

I hope not either or no pets inside. That is one of the main reasons Josef goes to daycare. I am so scared of fire and him not getting out safely.

It took me forever to get in the cage,so I am going to try and do some reading.I don't know anything about my property deal yet.Digger said hubby went fishing and I haven't talked to him so whateva,time for a hot toddy!!!!!!!!!

Man - I thought my 97 feels like 100 was bad! I am glad the actual temp is not 100 or I may die. I swear I have permanent bathtub fingers from sitting in the pool all day every day.

Now, after a 7 pm meeting I have to run 45 minutes out to MIL's house to plug in her pill minder - it is a locking one and she must have unplugged it and now no one else can seem to make it out there. I love the woman but I swear if they do not put her in a home soon I may go in one myself!  Ok, whining done. Have a great night if I do not make it back!

Brandi, you can come to my pool and bring Tevye along and I will invite the BIL along as well and let y'all take care of him. LOL

Turned out I played her in a softball game and tagged her out at third, smack in the nose the next day. Bled all over the place, vengence was mine and she started it, plus I swear to God she was 6 feet tall. LOL

I just realized what the date is tomorrow. 7-7-2010. Anniversary of the tube bombings in London. I will never forget that day. For some reason I woke up very early and turned on the news and saw it all live. My Nana had just flown into London at the time of the bombings. So if you wish, send out special prayers for the ones lost and prayers it will never happen again. Sorry to be Debby Downer, it just hit me what the date is. TIA JSM

Hope it helps NRCG  I use to put on a CD with ocean sounds to clam me down and then my stomach would calm down.

The funeral went fine, I think the kids are gonna be ok. All the grandkids spoke, and I took Gramma's cookie jar, filled with flowers from our garden, as representation of the great grandkids. Blue Angels were right on time!

Work is going great...so far my biggest trouble is fashion! I just look dumpy! I need a fashion makeover...bad! It doesn't help that I'm a total winter girl (long skirts, sweaters), and don't look so hot unless I'm dressed in the same color, head to toe. Ah well, I'll get it figured out. I do know to dress up on court days.

I hope your California lady comes thru for ya! Fooey on the Fakers!

TBM sorry you are having to drive out in the heat and take care of your MIL pill box. That's very interesting I never have heard of one like that. My friends hubby takes so many pills and they are always getting new things to help him remember when to take them. How nice a pool sounds right now. Be careful on your drive. You are a wonderful daughter in law. ((( HUGS)))

It is a really cool system - it only lets the person have access to one dose at a time - which is nice. The good news is that she is taking the meds every time. The bad news is that she wants desperately to get into them to re arrange them to her desires. They make one that is cheaper with the traditional pill minder style and an alarm that goes off when the time comes to take the meds. Unfortunately with her memory problems she would dump them all out and re arrange them to her wishes. Ah well, at least she did not yell at me about her car not being home!
