Made it out to the local toy store after dinner to pick up goodies for the goodie bags.  I got some space lava goo in a jar, a pack mac candy canister with coloured and flavoured sugar, a spider man that is supposed to grow to 50 times his size in water , a hand held spinny twirly thingy that whistles really loud when you spin it.  Also picked up some kinder surprises to up the sugar factor when they get home.   I know the boys will love them but the moms will hate them! I think I have all the bases covered, sugar, noise and goo for each of them to take home and enjoy.

Also bought son a marshmellow cannon.  I can not wait to play with it!
Sounds like fun stuff - wish I were attending the party, what fun.

Update, Mr No Rose called the insurance place and gave him a number for the plumbers, our cost is 55 bucks, not bad, waiting for them to call back, he left them a message. And my daughter was calling me already about how wonderful the dragons are, blah, blah, and I told her they aren't coming here, and she continued and I hung up. I'm actually going further with this, I'm telling her boyfriend he should have thought first about this, and asked us if the monsters were welcome in our house. Nobody better mess with me today  LOL

10 pgs behind as usual but I had to skip ahead

Rosie, you crack my buns up! too funny listening to As your world turns lol..

I say, let the boyfriends parents have the dragons at their house! see how they might like it! just my 2 cents worth...
back to catch up
Now that is a good idea Cookie.

To who ever is driving the monkey airstream come across the BC border and go north on the Cariboo Highway.  Stop at 100 Mile House for coffee then keep heading north, stay on 97 till Dawson Creek, cross the rockies into Alberta, turn right and drive for a while then stick your heads out the windows and listen for the screaming, should take you left, right , left , left and finally right at the moose crossing sign with shotgun holes in it then straight and you will find the place.  Can you get here by 10:00am to help get the pool uncovered?
Oh you do live in the most beautiful parts of Canada - On my way!!

Morning Everyone - Happy Friday!

TGIF Tevye you put in a full week!!
Good morning, hope your daughters graduation went great.

me too! me too!

Rosie..my SIL did the same thing as your daughters boyfriend as far as signing up for the service...he had debt from student loans etc....got a nice sign on bonus..the only reason that he enlisted...for them it was a way out of debt so he went for it...thank God he is out now..he spent some time in Korea and in Iraq...
Wow, thanks, I just thought why would you do this, especially going to Afghanistan? He also spent some time in Somalia and somewhere in Asia, but I can't remember where, he could have said Thailand, but I don't know for sure. Thank God he is out.

I keep getting kicked out of here.  I need to run this by all of you, because this is something that is really bothering me. I ran it by my dad, and my dad had the same reaction as I did.  My daughter's boyfriend as I said is a medic, but what I wasn't aware of because I know nothing at all about war, is that he will be getting a nice sum of money for going over there, my daughter said 50,000 dollars. He wants to pay off all his debt so then when he gets back he will have a clean slate, so when he and my daughter move to Georgia there will be no bills. I ask you, he could get out of this because of his bum knee, but doesn't want to, call me crazy  LOL  but I would figure out another way to pay my bills without stepping foot into that nightmare over there. My dad, gotta love him, says he is just plain nuts, to be doing this. I can't figure this out to save my life.

I knew they got hazardous duty pay NRCG. But didn't know they gave them bonus' for signing up to go. At least that large of one. I can understand the want to be debt free especially in today's times. I can't say I would want one of my sons going over there. It is a hard call I think on everyone's part. But if his only reason is to be debt free why spend the kind of money he spent on the ugly lizards. I applaud all the men and women who serve in our military. I come from a long line of servicemen & women. As far as him getting out of going even with a bum knee I think once he signed on the dotted line he will have to serve. Prayers for him and your family during his service time spent over in the hell whole.

Well that is a great question, one I have asked repeatedly to my daughter, why spend 600 dollars on lizards. I'm just saying that if I had a bum knee I would be screaming from the rooftops and I would figure out another way to get out of debt. Like my husband keeps saying to me, part of the puzzle pieces are missing, that is why some of this isn't making sense.

From Tvguide.com:

Figure skater Scott Hamilton is "doing great" after undergoing brain surgery Wednesday, his rep tells People.

The 51-year-old Olympic gold medalist is "resting comfortably in the hospital ... The priority is for him to rest and recover so he can get home to his boys [Aidan, 6, and Maxx, 2]," his rep told the site. The surgery was to prevent the recurrence of a benign tumor near his pituitary gland.

Hamilton, who battled testicular cancer in 1997, first discovered the tumor in 2004 and had it removed by radiation. Although the tumor was benign, if left untreated it could have caused him to go blind.

Hamilton was one of America's biggest stars at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, where he won the gold medal. He was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame in 1990 and appeared on Celebrity Apprentice in 2009.

He is expected to return home next week.
So sad - all these brain incidents of late........Brett, Gary and now Scott.  Scary.

Good morning everyone. JSM  hope you feel better before boarding the plane, have a good time.  Hope everyone has a good day today. Need to go take a quick bath in an inch of water and get ready for the plumber. Sure hope the plumber looks like the guy in the second picture, but you know he won't. I will be forced to see a portly man with his butt crack showing, that will unfortunately have to be my dream man for the day  LOL
Good luck with the plumber - I hope he is dreamy.

I don't think I've ever waxed a floor  LOL  I can't remember. None of my flooring needs to be, at least I don't think so. I just have to feed the birds and then I'm done, waiting for the docs and plumber.

I don't even see where media has picked up the documents......what are they waiting on?
Oh no, maybe we won't get them until Monday. 5000 pages seems like an awfully lot, got to wonder if they meant 500 pages.

Didn't I read it was letters of some kind? That would be a lot of letters. LOL

Oh good grief,if there was to be 5000 pages of letters,i would probably have some kind of a fit and destroy something at the Faker's property.LOL
I can handle reading letters, but surely there is more .........I'm getting paranoid.

Morning Trimm  Hope you have a quiet day today. At least less stressful than yesterday. Did you get any sleep? Prayers for you and the family.

Hey GreenEyes. It is very quiet.Hubby went fishing.I went to sleep pretty early, but woke up around 3:00 because i could not stop thinking about the documents.Isn't that pitiful?LOL
Thank you for your prayers.Staying busy really does help.Monkey hugs.
We want answers from JSM..........Hehehehe

LOL Trimm I think we all have those kind of nights. I know I do. The more I try and shut them off the more I think about it. And around and around I go. They did say bye Friday I thought. Lets just hope they are not repeats. I get so disgusted with the game playing. Enough already. When is Caylee going to get Justice. This should have been over a long time ago. And Casey should have been hung along with her scum bucket family.
