No Rose -- I was reading back a couple pages about your daughter's situation with her boyfriend, about the divorce not being final after years because she hasn't signed the papers. 

Either he's pulling a big one over on your daughter, or he just doesn't know because he never asked his lawyer... but you can't force anyone to stay married to you.   If the divorce has been filed & she's actually been served with the papers, then he can get a default divorce without saying another word to her.  I knew it was like that in Texas, but googled & found it's like that in CA too.

"In a default California divorce, only one spouse (the one filing the divorce) is required to sign anything. One spouse files the divorce papers. The other spouse is then notified by being delivered a copy of the divorce papers by the Sheriff, Constable or other authorized process server, (and in some states by certified mail). The spouse being "served" with the divorce papers is not required to sign anything. All that is required is proof that they were notified - not their consent. You cannot force someone to stay married to you."

Hi Buds Girl!!! Thanks for finding that info for No Rose. I think the guy is FOS if you ask me. Can you see if no fault divorce is like that in Georgia. That's where the wife lives. Thanks, I am just being nosy right now. : )

OMG ... I have had one surgery in my life. Had my gall bladder removed. They did blood work before the surgery and the hospital people missed my vein so many times, it wasn't funny. By the time I drove home, my arm was so swollen, I had to go back to have it checked out! What a nightmare you reminded me of. LOL

I am not a fan of doctors and hospitals at all. I don't go to the doctor now unless I think I am going to die if I don't. Not a good way to be, but that is what I have become. And not because of this situation, but I am just not a fan of doctors unless I am dying. Or think I am. LOL

That was awful, I am not a big fan of doctors and hospitals either.

I'm going with stupid, and I'm getting madder about this the more this goes along. This all happened in Georgia, but I'm sure it isn't that much different. I think he thinks it will all disappear.

I didn't see a date, just mid July. I was so wanting it to be this Friday. You could bet your azz I would be in that courtroom waving hi to all the monkeys watching LOL

It's 100° here today again, calling for next 3 days in the 100's. I don't want to cook when it is that hot.

I saw that on the news this morning Brandi. Try and stay cool I agree it's to hot to cook. I am so mad right now. Last week took car in because hubby didn't want to mess with why the air wasn't working after all his work with the gas line. So took it in and they said no problems it just needed coolant. I was thrilled, to drive here in summer without air is nasty. So went to go over to Joann's  turned the air on and NOTHING but warm air.  So it's going back tomorrow and they are going to find out whats wrong and they aren't going to charge me for it. As we paid them the first time. To say the least I was so dang out and it's not like it's just around the corner here. I didn't but much at Joann's just walked around and looked at everything. Ended up buying a couple yards of different 4th July fabric to have for use in the future. LOL It was on sale.

You should have been with me.I had to leave and go across the lake to the California lady's relatives house.She is all to pieces.One of the F*kers next door called her and told her they had made an offer on my house and all kinds of chit.My house is not on the market,since 2008.They are trying to provoke me.I guess they are really pizzed about the lake access.I think I calmed her down.Her son recently passed away and I find it absolutely disgusting they did her like that.Ya'll better pray for me because I am trying not to come unglued.Be back in a bit.I gotta calm hubby down.

I had a similar problem .... had inherited my mother's car which was in excellent condition ... decided to do some preventative maintenance .. took car in for an oil change and asked them to check/refill the coolant in A/C . It was working great when I took it in. Got it back, no cool air. After about 4 tries, they decided I had a leak they could not find. It never got fixed. They broke it. I ended up donating it to the ALS charity the next year.

Also never went back to that crappy auto business, although it is well known and thought of in this town.

You people on the East Coast have really been suffering with the heat. I know it is only a matter of time for that to start here big time. The 4th this year was the coolest that I can remember in about 10 years, it was 75 degrees, and 73 today. And I'm not complaining because once that ugly stuff starts it doesn't seem to stop. Here August and especially Sept seem to be the ugliest, and am not looking forward to it at all.

Doesn't that just get to you when you have something fixed in the car and then you turn around and it wasn't fixed proper. I don't know what I would do without air in the car, guess I wouldn't drive. You are like me it is on sale, and maybe I can use it, and then it may sit here and I'm staring at it and wondering why did I buy it, oh, it was on sale  LOL
