Me too Sunny. I'm shaking my head and thinking OMG, how do you all keep up?? This whole case is such an intricate spider web, making Casey's case look like child's play. But I'm watching and reading and trying to understand it all.

Personally, with Paulus dead, I would think that those who helped him cover up in the Natalee case would want Joran dead. Maybe they were waiting an "acceptable" amount of time before Joran committed "suicide"? But then Joran killed again. What is a country to do??

Bless you monkey's for doing all this work, I'm sure Natalee is up there smiling at this cage.

I don't know, I googled JVDS missing girls Thailand and up came the following link.  Same picture and title, but some of the comments attached to that page are older, with only 1 dated today.  Could this be an old story, the Colombian one and it was mistakenly marked as Thailand?

Definately dated today but she didn't report on it tonight.  Mostly just the Kyron case tonight which makes sense.  I wouldn't be surprised if they are looking in to missing girls in Thailand and a Joran connection:

I've always suspected that the rumors of him dealing in human trafficking were true. I betcha there is a trail of missing teens that has followed him where ever he has been.

Just wanted to chime in with this (my opinion) --

Regardless of the FBI's charges, or charges that may arise elsewhere, PERU HAS HIM. Not only that, but Peru has a strong case in a serious crime. He'll be tried and sentenced there first.

I do think that once that happens, he could be brought to the U.S. for the extortion trial, as opposed to waiting until he completes his sentence in Peru. The reason would be that witnesses (JQK, possibly someone in ALE, etc.) might forget details, become too ill, die, etc., over a long interim.

I can't call up a specific instance of that, especially among multiple countries, but I'm pretty sure it has happened.

And I said, no, why would you ask that?
 
And he only asked me that once, and from there forward, three other detectives asked Natalee's step father probably a dozen times, Larry. Jug had to come to me six times and ask me if Natalee had a history of epilepsy or seizure. And I kept saying no, why do you keep asking us that? Why? So, it brought it full circle for us.

GRETA VAN SUSTEREN,HOST: Do you think, if the Aruban police asked that question within 48 hours of Natalee disappearing, and now we hear it on the tape with Joran two-and-a-half or three-and-a-half years later, whatever it is by now — do you think the Aruban police heard him say that? Do you think he told that to the Aruban police that night when they talked to him?

HOLLOWAY: I have absolutely no doubt that the only reason why that question was asked of us was they had a confession or an admission of this from Joran Van Der Sloot himself. So definitely. There is no way that we can tie what Joran said — you know, no way that we cannot tie when Joran said during that taped interview to what was asked of us from Dennis Jacobs not — within 48 hours. Absolutely. Absolutely, they knew.

Father of slain Peruvian student hopes others learn from her death

Lima, Peru (CNN) -- Hours after he spoke to a judge for the first time about his daughter's killing, Stephany Flores' father told family and friends at a memorial service that he hoped others would learn from her death.

Ricardo Flores said Wednesday he had sheltered his children too much from the evils of the world.

"Sometimes we're wrong, and I have been wrong a lot. Because I have permitted my kids to know the good, and not the bad. My kids have everything, but also we have to take away from them sometimes," he said. "Don't commit the error that I made."

Authorities say 21-year-old Stephany Flores was killed a month ago. Dutch citizen Joran van der Sloot was charged with first-degree murder and robbery after authorities found Flores' body in a Lima, Peru, hotel room registered to him.

Ricardo Flores, who helped search for his daughter when she didn't come home May 30 after a night out at a casino, gave a formal statement about the facts surrounding the case to a judge Wednesday.

Later in the day, about 300 people gathered at a Lima temple for the memorial service. Peru's National Police Chorus sang "Eternal Love" while a slideshow of photographs flashed on a projector screen. Longtime friends remembered Stephany Flores as "a great friend" with a "contagious smile."

Stephany Flores came from a privileged family, but was a humble person who was extremely giving, friends told CNN.

She once wrote a list of 23 businesses that she wanted to do well in, and then checked them off one by one as she decided whether she was really interested in pursuing them.

At the time of her death, Flores had told her friends she was the happiest she had ever been, they said.

Van der Sloot was twice arrested in connection with the disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005, but he has not been charged in that case.

Police said van der Sloot admitted that he attacked Flores on May 30 after she read an e-mail in his computer connected with the Holloway case.

After killing Flores, police say, van der Sloot took money and bank cards from her wallet and fled to Chile, where he was arrested June 3.

He was returned the next day to Peru.

Van der Sloot is being held at the Miguel Castro Castro Prison in a high-security area where only two of the 10 cells are occupied. He has no contact with the general prison population.

Van der Sloot's attorney filed an appeal Wednesday to a ruling that upheld the admissibility of his client's confession and the legality of his detention.
