No kidding never, ever heard that-are you certain??!    His parents were just plain folks--His dad worked for Scott Paper Company until his retirement & I can't remember what his mom did, but everyone thought the world of them-very down to earth and not pretentious - Jimmy built a great home for them on Mobile Bay & helped Lucy with her restaurant career.

Actually, it evolved from Jimmy Buffet's lyrics to "Banana Republic" describing American Expatriots. It was VERY fitting to the topic.

I know you are right about that, Wreck. They would rip him into confetti on the streets! I haven`t ever pissed somebody off so bad that they felt the need to attack
me with a dirty lettuce. I hope to never do it either... as long as I shall live.

I wish that posters would refrain from adding political commentary to these topics that are devoted to missing and murdered persons. It is so out of place.

Onward. I think if Joran got out on bail or whatever it is in Peru - he would have a lot of help jumping bail. Unfortunately he has a fan base -- infamous murderers always attract groupies. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them are plotting ways to help him depart Peru even as I type this. A few of them probably want to leave WITH him.

Now, as to where he could ultimately escape, I have no idea. I suspect he is one of the most recognizable people on the planet.

He could always go to Aruba or the NL.  He seems to be very popular there.

The forum software should remain exactly the same, the only thing changing is the hardware.  So your answer would be yes, it will be as it is now.

CBB - I think the suggestion was for a Post of the Day "avatar" - maybe a blingee-encrusted medal or trophy.

Only problem is that we have quite a few terrific posts on the same day. Well, sometimes.
