18-year-old Tampa teen charged with sexually abusing four young brothers

Tampa Police have arrested an 18-year-old Tampa teen and have charged him with sexually abusing four young brothers. The victims are ages 4, 7, 10 and 12 years old.

According to a report by the Tampa Police Department, 18-year-old Gabriel Garcia of 6219 North Oran Street in Tampa was described as a family friend.

Reports state that the victim’s mother began to suspect that two of her children had been sexually abused and contacted Tampa Police on June 15, 2010. During the course of an investigation, it was learned that all four boys had been sexually abused. Authorities say that the abuse was ongoing and began in January 2010; the children had been sexually abused repeatedly.

Police brought the suspect in for questioning and during the interview, he confessed the crimes. He was arrested and booked without incident.

Gabriel Garcia faces 12 counts Capital Sexual Battery, 12 Counts Lewd and Lascivious under 16, 5 counts Lewd and Lascivious under 12, and 5 counts of sexual battery. He is currently held in the Orient Road Jail without bond.
