Hi Tevye.  I thought about that too.  I considered changing it yesterday but like everyone else, I kept getting kicked outta the cage.  Maybe we should leave a trail of nanners for JSM to follow?

Seems his passport was found in the pocket of his shorts.Just thought that was odd.

Good Morning Monkeys,

Hope you guys are having a good day.  I am ready to go bananas here. Late last night about the time you got up Trimm.  I went into the kitchen to get a drink and heard what I thought was water running. To make a long story short my Frig went and it was the frig defrosting. I moved everything I could to the my other frig. If I hadn't gone out I would have lost everything. I did lose some stuff. Dang it the thing is only 3 years old.  What else could go wrong. Am waiting for hubs to notice.

Oh Geez, I'm sorry about that. I'm glad you had another frig to put things in, so you didn't lose everything. I swear the quality of products that are made today are shoddy at best. I go through washers and dryers so fast, one of the times I called a repairman, and he told me flat out Maytag, most of the parts are made in Mexico and not very well. From then on, I have stayed away from Maytag products. When my microwave went at Christmas, it was only two years old, and replaced it, because we were told it would be cheaper to buy a new one. It is so frustrating. Also when we lived in WI in my grandparent's old house, we wanted to replace the toilets, the plumber more or less said, don't be crazy these are made great, and don't waste time on new ones. Hope your day goes better Green Eyes  HUGS

I agree NRCG they make things so poorly any more. It's like they only make them to last a couple years. I have said for years we have become a throw away country. I think it started when  they started outsourcing every thing. IMO

I agree about the outsourcing of everything. It sure seems that way, for some reason half of my appliances go in about two or three years, and others just keep on going, and I can't figure out why they are. My fridge is old, over ten years but keeps on keeping on, I'm going to knock on wood to keep it that way  LOL

The fridge I moved every thing into is over 10 years old too. Still trying to decide do I call a repair man out and look at it and tell me whats wrong and if it's fixable or do I go and buy a new one?

NRCG how are you doing today?

Trimm you and sidekick playing video games today? Hope hubs deposition went well yesterday?

Daughter made it to Flagstaff yesterday. So they should have an easier drive today.

I keep getting knocked out of here. Glad to hear that your daughter made it to Flagstaff, they should have an easier drive today. Since the fridge is only two years old, I guess that I would call the repairman, and if it isn't worth getting it fixed, I would buy another. Sometimes what they charge to fix something it isn't even worth it. I'm okay, just doing somethings around here, and need to go water the plants.

I am slowly getting every thing back in order around here after the mad exodus with daughter LOL Getting laundry done. Same old stuff. Hubs just wants to get a new fridge, I want to have someone come out and look at it first. So we are having a battle of wills. LOL

Hi

Just bought new fridge, dishwasher and stove. The price of appliances have gone out of sight! I remember buying a side by side with water and ice in the door and wine rack for $500.00 this time it cost $1,800.00.....Rediculous and the extended warrantee was $500.00.
Here in Alabama they had a program sort of like cash for clunkers. If you bought enegy star appliances you got a rebate but you had to get rid of the old ones. I got $150.00 for fridge and $75.00 for the dishwasher..no rebate for stove because I switched to gas.

Bless your heart.Lets just run away.At least you didn't lose everything.Fridge was not vbery old.I hope nothing else goes wring today for you. Smile
I am so sick of attorneys I can't stand myself, plus the emails back and forth about the property...not sure what is gonna happen there.so I go outside to cut a little grass and cut down an old bush.Thought I could work off some frustration.
Meanwhile hubby is tormenting sidekick and then they locked up the keyboard on my laptop! They have since ran to a corner because I am hot ,dirty and still frustrated.LOL
