Hmmmm, I can't quite believe this. Yes, I believe there is a hit on him, but I don't think he could escape. He's safer inside the prison than outside. Peruvian's would lynch him from the nearest tree!!   

If this is all true, then the cellmate that ratted Joran's escape plans may have saved Joran's life. (for a little longer, anyway)  I don't know about prison's in Peru, but often when there is an escape attempt, the escapees can be shot as they try to escape.

.  Of course, even in the unlikely event Joran  escaped, he would stick out like the sore thumb he is unless/until he could get out of the country.  Joran has that big Frankenstein head, not to mention he's taller than an average Peruvian citizen. Even if he tries to dye his hair red/orange again, I think it would be very hard for him to be disguised.  He would have to have help to escape, and anyone that was caught doing that could be shot also. A lot of risk.   I think there would be plenty of folks in Peru that wouldn't have a problem taking justice into their own hands if they saw Joran Van Der Sloot out of prison  JMHO

Now, comes Dutch filmmaker Paul Ruven who claims he is making a film about the Natalee Holloway case as he searches for the truth. Really? The film claims to hold no punches on any of the individuals involved including Joran Van der Sloot, Aruban police, government or the victims family. One does have to question why any one would take the approach of smearing the Holloway family as a way of so-called finding the truth as to what happened.

I couldn't agree more, Red.  This smearing of Natalee and her family is not only just plain wrong and incorrect, it is based on highly questionable sources.  And it is totally irrelevant.  Is this film producer trying to say that coldblooded murder is justified?  Sure sounds that way to me.

If all the lies Aruba tells about Natalee were true, does that mean it's OK to murder her and hide the body?  Watch out tourists!  If you get too drunk in Aruba, it's grounds for a local to make you disappear from the face of the earth.

You are forewarned by their own actions.  Even in hindsight, they claim that makes it OK or has some bearing on your safety.

And when Natalee went to Aruba, they were claiming they had only 1 murder there in the last 20 years, yet another whopping lie.  What else are they lying about?  No one is safe under these conditions in Aruba if they are a tourist.

I sort of hope the escape attempt is true. It's just confirmation that Joran is scared chitless and desperate. That makes my day!    If true, he also knows that his cellmate isn't his "Buddy" and hopefully, that will make him feel more alone.

A Pittstown woman is in critical condition after she apparently suffered a medical problem before losing control of her motorcycle this morning at Route 625 and Perryville Road in Union Township, New Jersey State Police report.

Daria Kingman, 59, was driving a 2005 Triumph north on Route 625 when she lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected, police said.

She was flown to St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill after the 10:49 crash, police said.

Police said Kingman was wearing a helmet and the road conditions were dry.

I regret to say that Al and Daria Kingman will not make it. Daria (my mom) was involved in a severe motorcycle accident Thurday, 22-July on her '05 Triumph. She was riding on a 50 mph beautiful country road and didn't see a poorly marked blind intersection which should not be there. She skidded ~60 ft before high-siding, throwing her over the bars. She has been in a coma since with severe brain injury, 9-13 broken ribs, collar bone, collapsed lung, etc. Prayers would be appreciated for her recovery. Both her and my father would have LOVED to be at the meet instead!

he followed the polis and a series of other vehicles to the rock area from a distance. he went up in an area on tierra del sol and filmed from a high vantage spot. he took a camera that had a pretty good zoom.

There are 2 neighborhoods (wealthy) near the Lighthouse. Looking down from the Lighthouse
At the left side there is Tierra del Sol (golfcourse and townhouses), at the right side
There is the Malmok area. There are few houses that are for rent or for sale..
Maybe you can look them up in rentals.

Herc, as the only person here who has seen the missing video (and i saw it on 6-13-2005) three days after it was shot by Ed Smith.. i can assure you, that was no road project…it was what i have alway said it was… the recovery or crime scene of something or someone. there is one other known person who has seen the video. she is in holland and there have been numerous attempts to contact her. So Herc, not to dispute what you bring to the table in the form of information, however, i know what i saw…and its been the biggest point of contention for me…along with the other video shot the following day of the same rocks being painted.

i now understand they are rent-a-cops. contract cops that patol the beaches to ensure order. basically jobs real cops should be doing but dont want to. thanks to stanley zandaam im sure.
