In all honesty those look like bumper cars but Kyron still looks scared to me.
I'm thinking possibly the Family Fun Center in Wilsonville.  Go carts.

Maybe Dede's father can talk Dede into doing the right thing.  And hopefully that will lead to Kyron.

Just heard on scanner about 15 mins. ago that a call had come in from Skyline, no mention iff   it was the school or on the road. A blanket was seen and appeared to be wrapped around a body. Not another word so far.

Searches - Mutual Aid, Multnomah County

Sat, 07/24/2010 - 3:32pm.

17 PNW members participated in a mutual aid response to Multnomah County for an active case.

Thanks, Wyks. Interesting find.

Suppose they were at the school searching today?

After 3,300 leads, Kyron search comes back to Skyline

PORTLAND, Ore. – Investigators remain busy with 3,300 leads in the case of Kyron Horman's disappearance. On Saturday however the search for Kyron Horman came back to Skyline School – more than seven weeks after the second grader was first reported missing.

Searchers took over the rural northwest Portland elementary school's parking lot Saturday morning, from around 10 a.m. until early afternoon. So while Kyron Horman's Wall of Hope continues to draw people to Skyline School, on this Saturday those here to see the tributes were surprised by something else.

Beaverton visitor Todd Wise said he saw a group of searchers leaving the parking lot, "geared up with gear" and what looked to be lots of supplies in their trucks.

Thanks Darla.  My guess is that they *could have* switched to a private channel.

According to this article, Terri was at her Attorneys office for over 9 hours! Geez, I wonder why so long?

Web exclusive: A bloody find on Black Butte and a broken system

By Stephen Kanter

On a recent Friday afternoon, I drove south out of Portland, headed for the soul-restoring Santiam Pass to my cabin on the Metolius River in Camp Sherman. It had been a busy workday, the day following our wedding anniversary, and the glorious Central Oregon night, with a huge moon and countless crystal stars in a clear sky, was all I'd hoped for.

Little did I know that in the next 24 hours, a routine morning hike and the discovery of a bloody sock on the trailhead would lead me into a tangle of bureaucratic bungling and jurisdictional disputes and the realization that a citizen trying to do the right thing can be thwarted by broken, dysfunctional systems.

Indeed, truth is stranger and sometimes more disturbing than fiction.

OS

Thanks OS. That story was unfricken believable!
Sounds like everyone passing the buck and "it's not my job". Apparently, they only go to work to eat their lunch....(the LE mentioned in the story) How could the LE be so wreck less and have no regard for a missing child? What a bunch of morons....Kudos to the law professor for pushing so hard regarding the sock.

Who needs the news when you have cousins?

It sounds like things will take off early next week. There is a blog that two of DeDe Spicers cousins are posting to. One gives good details of her personality and his sister backs him up. I'm not sure how long it takes a grand jury to indict, but from those blog postings they will be talking with Ms. Spicer Monday or Tuesday of next week.
