The Grand Jury would have to return an indictment first.  If these three witnesses are being called to testify, it says to me that the Grand Jury is still taking evidence.

Jess, forgive me if you've already addressed this, but how long in duration will a Grand Jury usually sit? I'm sure it varies by jurisdiction, but is there a "ballpark" amount of time we can expect evidence to be heard/collected/etc?

Round trip to the refuge and back to school would have taken 45 min. Approx. The route back would take her right past the school on the route you showed. If a site were prepaird in advance, and one were to wear overalls and slip over boots, you could easily leave the school get to the vicinity I was in 25 min. Spend twenty or so there, and get back in another 25 min. Would that fit the time line?

I have scoured the tweets and associated blogs of enlocale and pea. They are both chef/foodistas from the east coast who came to Portland to prepare a "farm dinner" for 40. It is clear that Rosemont farms happens to be one of the purveyors and DeDe was one of the many workers utilized to produce and serve this dinner. I believe it to be coincidental to Kyron's disappearance. It is my opinion that neither of these east coast chefs is involved. I'm not saying that the posts should be ignored by LE; however, I doubt the posts are integral to the investigation. Here are the links on the blogs associated with the farm dinner. I had another post that pointed out the fact that dede may have known jj and pea beforehand they just didnt pop out of the blue/pea was a marathon runner as well. not saying they are involved or connected.but i think it is very important for LE to check it out. why would dede be so worried about pea getting a good night sleep?she didnt seem so close to others saying this type of thing in her tweets.if it was just a coincidense then why talk to pea after the fact if they never met and say that?

I also wanted to add in that other post of mine that why would dede be off cooking with these people when Kyron is missing? if your such a Great Friend why not help find him? just does not make since to me. If my friends little one was missing I wouldnt be so happy off cooking with people I dont know.

Exactly what I was thinking. The only one who might have evidence to offer GJ regarding MFH would be Kaine, and even that's highly unlikely given what we've read...

Yes and No = I am very worried about what LE actually knows and has not shared, maybe not even with DY TY and KH, I so don't want Kyron to be gone.

Former captain with the Multnomah county sheriff's office Bruce Mccain spoke with Erica Hill on the latest in the search for Kyron Horman and the probe on his step mother and those who know her.

Video 8/2  states dede said she didnt have her phone with her on Jun 4th (however I remember seeing somewhere she called terri for 3 min during the 90 min timeframe) (her atty also said she never left the home she was working at) <in another video ~how strange is all that.


 

I could swear I read somewhere that she left after receiving a phone call. Besides that, what if: Terri picked DeDe up (maybe DeDe hat to walk a block to meet her), so DeDe's car was still at the location she worked. Then Terri drives to gym and DeDe takes the wheel. DeDe does what she has to do to help Terri, returns to pick up Terri, and gets dropped back at work, while Terri goes home. Purely hypothetical of course.

PORTLAND, Ore. — DeDe Spicher, identified as a close friend of Terri Horman, was doing gardening work not far from the family’s home in Northwest Portland on the day Kyron Horman disappeared, KGW has learned from a reliable source. Spicher reportedly left where she was working at 11:15 a.m. on June 4 and returned around 1 p.m.

The person who owns the house, who is cooperating with investigators, told them she called Spicher on her cell phone but she didn’t answer, the source told KGW. A person who was working with Spicher, who is also cooperating with investigators, told them of trying to unsuccessfully find Spicher. Both people have told investigators they have no idea where Spicher was during that period.

Family pleads with Spicher to cooperate

Thursday evening, the parents of Kyron Horman issued a public plea to DeDe Spicher, naming her in a written statement that says police have informed them Spicher has been in “close communication” with Terri Moulton-Horman since Kyron went missing, and that Spicher has been ”providing Terri with support and advice that is not in the best interests of our son.”

The people who own property in the talked about areas here should scour their property. If your reading and know anyone in the area ask them to.

Does Tom know something?  Curious. 

My take on that is simply for folks to each check out their own property.  LE couldn't possibly get to every single home in the Portland area, let alone search ALL that property.  When our young friend went missing several years ago, he was finally found on private property in a shallow grave, which could have easily been seen by the property owner, had they looked in that area.  Am thinking that's all Tom is asking, for property owners to be the extended eyes for LE.  If each owner/tenant in those areas would walk the length of their own properties, Kyron might be found, if there.

Exactly, so gardners are traveling often to Portland area and just happen to myrmidons, they communicate only one time between one another, then never again?  Nothing leading up to the communication, like hey so glad to now we have a local in the area to show us around, NOTHING.  You have to look at it, JMO.

After reading both blogs, it seems obvious that pea and enlocale have been associated with each other in the food world of  Boston for quite sometime. This tweet indicates that DeDe came into association with them by recommendation of Rosemont Farms as a direct result of her involvement with Portland sustainable farming. DeDe was only in one marathon. I doubt that these 2 women were involved prior to the dinner. I take her overly familiar post to be that of an outsider to the food world, networking and trying to be in. MOO and YMMV

That said, I don't think any stone should be left unturned. Perhaps DeDe said or did something while with these women that could prove to be useful. In that regard, I agree with you Lucky 7.

Thanks for the responses about the phone call. Yeah, I was confused, must have been thinking abou the calls from the job that she didn't pick up when she disappeared. But I still think my speculation on what happened with DS and TH may be valid, unless the timeline (which I keep being too lazy to check back on) negates any possibility of it.
