I understand the bs about the freedom to build a place of worship, I get it. But don't tell me that this mosque couldn't have been built down the road a ways. This is only being done to rile up people.

so true! even people from England are warning us in YouTube videos...don't let them take over..that is what they are trying to do..and our Prez endorses them! the very nerve of him!

Good morning    I just about fell off my chair about the fight in Sheboygan over a mosque. Oh that will not go over big, oh no way will that go over big. I know how people are in that area, very set in their ways, which I am also, and wouldn't be surprised if while building one, it all of a sudden goes up in smoke

Let me add this about people in the area I grew up by. The manger in town has been the same for years, when I was back there recently the statues went from white statues to dark colored statues    People were use to the manger scene having the white statues, and weren't prepared for the new ones. Let me add this about people in the area I grew up by. I wanted to add that it was such a shock that my dad drove around the block three times for us to look, and had me get out of the car to observe close up  Then he said we need to get home and call Frankie up who works for the city, and Frankie told my dad they spray painted the statues because they were chipping  I'm just trying to show how set in their ways the people are there.

I'll die first    I see a good number of women around here wearing burqas    I didn't even know what the get up was until I asked someone.

Yesterday when hubs was putting in the center island we had to move things around to get it in. Here is one of our cats taking a nap. She really looks worried and up set with it all doesn't she.

I just heard a big noise upstairs...my closet rack down one wall just fell.    This is the closet from he!!.I gotta fix all that today.

  OMG one day we heard such a noise upstairs, we went and searched everywhere and couldn't find anything. I happened to then go look in a closet that we really don't use, just things stored in there, and the clothes rack fell also. What a mess, and it left holes in the wall. My husband fixed it and sure enough it happened again  Now it has been fixed again, and it hasn't ripped away from the walls in about two years. Another project for you to do

One of the reasons I think Burqas should be outlawed is that you have no idea who is wearing it. It could be a man armed with a bomb or assault weapon. Whether Obama accepts the facts or not "there is a terrorist threat" in this country.

I just think it is insensitive to build it so close to ground zero, it could be built further down the road, but I sure have no say so in anything. And I was trying to say that were I come from, it is very difficult to change the minds of people there who are so set in their ways. Living in So California I have to say that I've never seen one around here. I live by that big Saddleback Church that Rick Warren has founded.

Hi No Rose---I have a friend who sends money to Rick Warren.  I have no opinion of him one way or the other.  She receives "Thank you" letters for her donations and apparently some kind of form letter that if she ever visits the church, he will personally escort her in.  Now, I haven't seen the letter and it might be just her interpretation, but I don't think that he,  would actually be able to do this with every person who sends money.

Oh NO--The Prez is on TV again.  Have to leave the computer to turn him off.  He needs his own TV channel since he likes to be on camera 24/7.  Wish his job performance was as good as his speaking ability.

I can't see that happening. That church is huge, one could get lost in the parking lot alone  There is a lot of money that goes to the church, it is a huge social gathering of people, even more so then just listening to the services.
