Stress raises all heck with our bodies, I hope you aren't having a stressful week.  I have been meaning to ask you how Jess and Alan are doing?  I am going to head over to those threads here in a minute.

Deenie, you are such a sweet monkey.  I love the videos you posted (esp the Butterfly Hollow)  If I were to ever be married again that is where I would go and I would want that beautiful piano music playing.

I am sorry that you were hurt by someone so badly but I am also happy you were able to see through him and stop what could have been a terrible mistake.  One thing for sure is we monkeys definitely would have had your back and still do!

Trimm do you think the lightning storms had anything to do with your broken  A/C. Keep cool, eat lots of icecream and 

Not this time! 
Cleaned the coils and I think it needs a little freon.This downstairs unit has always run smooth.I am crossing my fingers.
Upstairs unit,well it is a pain in the hiney.It needs to be zapped!,shot,and rolled off the hillside.    Fixing to replace it.
This always happen after the extended warranty expires.

it is my grand daughters 2nd birthday today...so cute..
her party is on Sunday although we had a dinner last night and she had a cake and opened a few gifts..she is a typical energetic 2 yr old..very cute and fun...she always says, whatcha doing ?

Oh I love that age! My little granddaughter used to say whatcha doing all day.   
I'd look at her and say well what are you doing?
She'd look me dead in the eye and say watching you,watcha doing?   
My only agenda today is a little weeding before it rains.

Came back in from mowing a little more grass,and thought yippee I'll cool off and fix dinner.
Hubby was like wow it sure is hot in here.I was like WTH I am the one who just came back in the house.Neighbor boy came in and said wow it sure is hot in here.We all looked at each other.......A/C is out.   
Hubby and I were under the house checking out the blower and such...heard the smoke alarm.I was like wow it sure is hot in there.........came running inside and the garlic bread  in the oven was black!   
Well now it's storming so there is no working on anything.My clothes are sticking to me!
Oh well,at least I am not an Anthony.   

Holy carp when will it end.  I'm going to mail you a rabbits foot and a horseshoe.  I hope today is a better day Trimm, this is not the weather to be having a/c problems and the garlic bread.........that is not something even the dogs will eat.   

So far so good this morning.all things cool!

  See you Monkeys later.  Home to more yard cleanup, ugggh I will be so glad when it is over.  The weather turned hot and humid again today after a cool down, I wish it could have waited til we were done sawing all these trees up but oh well I will have to make me some of this later    Have a good evening everyone.

6 are down, cut and stacked, branches and limbs are in the burn pile that is now as tall as the Empire State building.  We are going to have one heck of a bon fire this fall.  Forecast for today is severe weather rolling in this evening, I am going to keep my fingers crossed no high winds as I am afraid with all the rain we have had this summer the ground is so soft that it won't take much to topple more trees.  I am definitely getting my exercise.   

BONFIRE night is my favorite nite in England!!! Have your bonfire on Nov 5th  No Seriously, I hope you don't have bad weather tonight and I will say a prayer that no more trees fall down.

  I love bonfire night!!! It is so much fun, bonfires, fireworks, Guy Fawkes effigies (even though it is anti Catholic) I still love it. So much fun.

Thank-you for asking. Alan is okay and can't wait to get home. Jessica has gone to the doctor and is on higher doses of medicine, so we shall see how it works.

I love bonfires
We lost a huge hickory tree to lightning and it was cut up and put into the fire pit. The pit was 20'x15' and 6' deep. The pile was a good 6' above that. Friends came up from Florida and had a fit saying that they pay a fortune for a little bundle of hickory to smoke things on the grill. I got a chain and the tractor and pulled some off the top of the pile and cut it into short poeces so they could load up their trunks to take home. When we lit the fire it was awesome and at 3:00Am could finally get close enough to cook hotdogs LMAO We also cut canes and bundle them and toss them into the fire.They explode and spark just like fireworks..FUN
