  It is so smokey here today that the street lights are on.  I thought we were getting smoke from the over 200 fires in BC right now but find out on the news that the majority of this mornings smoke is coming from the peat moss fires is Russia. 

The air is really thick outside and it is making it hard to breath. I can not imagine how people with respiratory issues are coping right now. 

Hi Northern!  That sounds awful, how long do they burn the peat moss for?  I can imagine if it is thick that it is would be hard to breath.   

The fires is Russia are out of control and have been for a while and have gotten into the peat bogs.  I have no idea how long they will burn for as they are have not gotten them out yet.  I wish a picture could capture how thick the air is outside.  The sun is brownish orange and the street lights are all on. 

 

Come and stay with me, we have an oven a place for you to cook sleep.

LOL  It is still really smoky here.  Did not want to go out yesterday so decided to make 20 lbs of Italian sausage yesterday.  My neighbour asked if I wanted to smoke any of them in his smoker.  I told him all I needed to do was hang them outside and they would get smoked. 

At this rate when Kevin his the freezer his bacon will already be smoked with no extra work 

Kevin..... is now sausage and bacon. First Norbert now Kevin Bacon.

Hope the smoke clears up soon Northern, I know how creepy it is to have the smoke blowing in. We had wildfires a few years back in West Texas that burned whole towns down and the smoke blew east and turned the skies all sorts of creepy colors.

You all have been chatty    My headache is back, and it is just now slowing down so in a bit I'm going to the store. I am going to only use one pillow tonight. Also two nights in a row I didn't take my half of xanax like I'm suppose to, and see that wasn't a good idea            Tevye you brought back so many memories when you mentioned Escanaba 

No Rose, hope your headache is better. Take the xanax like you are supposed to and maybe the headaches will get better. I think you are having stress headaches and the xanax will take the edge off. Please take care of yourself.

Hi No Rose, glad you are taking it easy. Day is going okay. Went skating this morning and Josef went to daycare, had lunch with my mom, sister and oldest nephew. It was fun, but I got stuck shopping at SteinMart with my mom.  She was looking at the most hideous stuff on the racks, I finally just walked away. I told her that she may be 60 years old, but she doesn't need to dress like she is 75.    You monkeys know how I am, sometimes things just come out of my mouth before my brain realizes what it is saying. Thankfully she didn't get mad and didn't buy the horrible jacket she was looking at.

  Going to walk the Josef now. He is driving me crazy because he knows dogs are outside. It is too hot and I am not in the mood to chat with other people if they are outside. 

My coach told me that the director of all the rinks was judging me during my competition and after my proposal she had to walk away because she didn't have a hanky and my other coach from England was bawling like a baby. I thought that was sweet.

Then found out that my mother had it set up with the Fox affiliate here to do a story about it, until my skating friend told her that I would kill her if she did.

Don't work if you don't feel like it, listen to your body and rest. Shopping is not my idea of a nice day, I hate it with a passion. I get in and get out. Plus what is worse is this weekend is TAX FREE shopping so any clothes item shoes etc under $100 is tax free. It gets to be a mad house on this weekend every year.  I don't do crowds and don't do shopping.

You are just like me in so many ways No Rose. Hope the headache goes away and please take your xanax that may help until Wednesday

Glad she didn't do it either. She is friends with a guy on Fox News Channel's mom and his wife is a reporter here. It is so hot I was getting burnt on the back of my legs. I am like you, don't want to chat with anyone unless it is on the computer (minus one certain person I talk to every night on the phone)

Crowds used to not bother me either, but I hate them now. Glad you are listening to your body and relaxing. I love Jack in the Box tacos!!!!!!!! Egg rolls are pretty good too. Y'all don't have Whataburger, but if you ever come to Texas, you will have the best burger and service in the whole world. Seriously, they are that good!!

It is so hot here then sun is blazing and I wish it was bedtime too. I have to work a testing session at the rink tomorrow from 3 to 5 plus go to church. Think I will go into work between Mass and skating testing. I have a stupid meeting Monday night that I am not even ready for.

Hey everybody! had a wonderful time with the grand babies last night, thanks to all who mentioned it!

talking about burgers...we are getting a 5 Guys Burgers here on Tuesday..My hubs loves it and eats there when he is in Florida for business...he has been bragging about their food for so long that I can't wait to try it out! 
Hubs is watching the race on tv so I guess we might have left over chili tonight for dinner..that sounds good too...chili dogs last night, chili and hot rolls tonight...

hope that everyone who is not feeling well tonight will get to feeling better real soon!
