I know that is what they do    My husband he brings up every little issue, me I only give the bare minimum  why should I start digging around for things. I had that happen once, and it was awful, and the tests were awful too.  I am barely hanging on from Kyron's thread today, one thing I did find out, guess my husband and I weren't the best parents. Geez, I'm sure glad nobody has dissected everything I did. We did our best, and everyone has different ways of dealing with issues. I think that cleaning something is in order

Yes,I am going to walk the dogs.Trying to stay current in the Kyron thread......   
Also been listening to Simon Barrett.I have to say Cobra is entertaining.He cusses like a sailor.   ::MonkeyHaHa::Still need to listen to Steph Watts.....the worst interviewer of all time.   

I keep up in Kyron's thread, but very seldom listen to radio shows, I usually read what people have posted about the shows.

I guess bottom line is every parent does things different and the best they know how, it was a discussion in Kyron's thread about raising kids, but I have to remember that when my kids were little there weren't as many issues out there, no internet problems at least for awhile, no cell phones when they were in grade school. Never once in my mind did I ever think that one of my kids could go missing from school

I feel bad for parents now with all the fears there are with raising small kids. I was worried all the time as it was, and am just thankful that some of the issues that are here now wasn't part of it  When my kids were in school I just thought they were safe, dumb on my part I guess.

Hubby has gone to meet with the lawyer.He gets his check today.Yeah!
He told me to keep the door locked while he was gone.He never tells me that.
Yesterday the Hockers had several guys over and they moved their picnic table right on the property line while I was outside working filling in some holes in the yard.He thinks they are taunting me.They are out in the yard now,so I guess I will stay in until Hubby gets back.Actually I don't think there is anyone else home on the street.    Guess it is back to reading...........

I'm so glad he is getting his check today     I would keep my door locked like your hubby told you, I don't even know these people, but I don't trust them, they sound like they could do a lot of things    I wouldn't even give them the satisfaction that they are your neighbors and exist.

I heard from Nut earlier this week and she said she's been really busy and she's doing well.  She's been doing some posting over in the Crime and MP threads when she gets time.   I hope Nut gets back here and helps with the moderating soon.  There's only one Nut44x4 and no one does    or this    like Nut.  (IMHO)     I'll be sure to let Nut know you were asking about her and that you miss her.

Still, Escanaba to home in5 1/2 hours wasn't bad. It was just that Mancelona to home part that was worse than any blizzard I've ever driven in. And I ...get home...and it's sprinkling! XXX Rd. Magic!

I may be here everyday, all day, but believe it or not, I'm not lazy and get a lot of work done. My yard and house is spotless, and take great pride in it. I have no friends really to speak of, and I come here so I can talk, enjoy the company and feel welcome. If I'm talking too much, I would like to be told, so I will move on and do other things.

NoRose you are a valuable and wonderful person/monkey, you do not need to justify how and where you spend your time. Your devotion to the missing and murdered is a true gift, if a tragedy of this kind ever affected me I'd want you in my corner.

OMG! I am laughing so hard - my hubby and 4 year old decided to can tomatoes. Problem is he has no idea how to do it. So he is doing things very strange. Trying to core hot tomatoes after the boiling water bath. I tried to tell him how to do it but, being a man, he thinks he knows better!  I will supervise enough to make sure they are not dangerous and let him have his fun. Perhaps he will know why I rarely can anymore!   

  OMG that is too funny TBM.  I hope all worked out.  I love to can tomatoes.  I know, call me weird but I find it enjoyable.

  The only thing I know about canning tomatoes, is opening them up with the can opener.

4Donks..maybe the donks are just too warm to eat...I lose weight in the summer cause I eat fresh fruits and veggies more and don't quite have a big appetite like in the fall and winter...maybe the donks are just not as hungry...try not to worry...

Thanks you're probably right. It's Lumpy I worry about (far right in avi) He was so sick when I got him that the vet thought he should be put down.He has Cushings, had foundered with absesses and thrush in his feet and was about 200 to 250 lbs overweight.That's why he is called Lumpy, he had huge lumps of fat all over him and a broken crest. He could hardly walk, could not lay down or have a dust bath. Now he runs, bucks, lays down and rolls over. Today when I was grooming him he is so thin that his spine is prominent. I guess I'm just overprotective but he is such a little character and just makes me smile with his antics.

No problem being over protective.  I hope Lumpy gets to feeling better and puts on some weight.
