Hi Guys.    I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday!

My personal life has been keeping me busy so I haven't read back very far - but wanted to say that when I do have time to read here, I always enjoy it.   I especially like NoRose's posts because she makes me laugh and I know she has a big heart.
Anyway, I want to share this youtube video with you guys...    I love this person's work - he is so funny.
There are several videos at this website, too:     http://www.simonscat.com/
I hope it will make you laugh as much as I have laughed.

I hope all is well Sassy.  I love the videos, adorable.  an angelic monkey

I do know how to spell it. cataracts
Prayers for Charlie  an angelic monkey  I guess when we get older none of us humans or animals are safe from cataracts. Thankfully when they just tested my eyes there weren't any yet. But I'm sure that will be coming along eventually

Thank you NoRose.  He'll have to go to University of TN Vet school for eye surgery in a few months.  I'm nervous about it because he has diabetes and a heart murmur.  It's odd because he's only about 5 years old.  I'm not sure because he was a rescued dog.  Just a mutt, but I love him.
Sending a prayer for Charlie BabyBear I hope all goes well.

Good Morning Monkeys!
Nice and quiet here for a little while.Hubby is fishing and the pups are having a nap.
Been up since 3:45 reading.    My eyes,my eyes.
I think you should be napping with the pups.  Enjoy the silence, you know what they say?  "Silence is Golden"  it is true.

Bearly Wrote: Green Eyes, I am glad your granddaughter updated her phone, she can do that on line too, I believe.

We found that out when we got there. But we didn't know what was wrong with it to begin with.  The other problem was her moms computer with all the apple ipod stuff on it has crashed. Then my dang server has such a low limit on downloads  we couldn't have download all the updates anyway.
I was so excited because we found a server that was in our rural area that doesn't have any limits and cheaper. Called them was already and because of the trees couldn't do it. Without putting over a 20 foot pole on the roof. To receive the radio signal. So that's out.
GreenEyes we are in the same situation being out in a rural area, it is frustrating.

I know that is what they do    My husband he brings up every little issue, me I only give the bare minimum  why should I start digging around for things. I had that happen once, and it was awful, and the tests were awful too.  I am barely hanging on from Kyron's thread today, one thing I did find out, guess my husband and I weren't the best parents. Geez, I'm sure glad nobody has dissected everything I did. We did our best, and everyone has different ways of dealing with issues. I think that cleaning something is in order
What?  Guess I need to read back over there, but I don't believe that you and your husband are/were not good parents, nope I don't believe it for a minute.
I guess bottom line is every parent does things different and the best they know how, it was a discussion in Kyron's thread about raising kids, but I have to remember that when my kids were little there weren't as many issues out there, no internet problems at least for awhile, no cell phones when they were in grade school. Never once in my mind did I ever think that one of my kids could go missing from school
Me either NoRose, school would have been the last place I would think a child could go missing from.

I feel bad for parents now with all the fears there are with raising small kids. I was worried all the time as it was, and am just thankful that some of the issues that are here now wasn't part of it  When my kids were in school I just thought they were safe, dumb on my part I guess.
Not dumb at all, I felt the same way.  Such a different world we live in today, different times, everything.  It is frightening.

Trimm, I'll bet your eyes are sore  an angelic monkey

Yes,I am going to walk the dogs.Trying to stay current in the Kyron thread......
Also been listening to Simon Barrett.I have to say Cobra is entertaining. He cusses like a sailor.   ::MonkeyHaHa::Still need to listen to Steph Watts.....the worst interviewer of all time.
I keep up in Kyron's thread, but very seldom listen to radio shows, I usually read what people have posted about the shows.
I usually just read responses too.
Hubby has gone to meet with the lawyer. He gets his check today.Yeah!
He told me to keep the door locked while he was gone.He never tells me that.
Yesterday the Hockers had several guys over and they moved their picnic table right on the property line while I was outside working filling in some holes in the yard.He thinks they are taunting me.They are out in the yard now,so I guess I will stay in until Hubby gets back.Actually I don't think there is anyone else home on the street.    Guess it is back to reading...........
Awesome your hubby will get a check today!  And ahhhhh you best stay put if no one on the block is home except the fo**ers.

That's good except for that darn heat, we are sure getting the heat now. Went to get my eyes checked and got new glasses, and can't wait to get them. Those prescription drops for allergy/dry eyes are really helping also.

Same here..no DSL or cable out here. Satelite dish needs clear view of southern sky so would have to cut down beautiful old growth white oaks(NOT) or put a post with the dish on a hill and put the cables underground to the house for installation. First it would cost a fortune and I fear it would be a lightning rod directing the lightning through the cable into the house. So am stuck with dial up

That kind of sudden drop of temperatures I think makes people sick, but sure would like that for tomorrow's forecast. Should be in the mid to high 90's for days.

It was a different time when our kids were in school. I remember when they started the make a secret word to use for your kids. If someone other than you picked them up. And getting your child finger printed. That was when my youngest was in grade school.
