I just made my second pot of coffee today..................I just don't know why I struggle to get water down???   I can drink it w/ Crystal Lite in it, but the artificial sugar does me in...................
I am going to work on it...........one little glass at a time.
Too bad wine doesn't have the same properties that water seems to have.............now that I could drink!   

NRCG, are you saying you feel shattered?  I hope that I read that wrongly.   I know you are NOT apethetic because your kindness and concern shines through your posts.
If you feel shattered ~ well, I am here to keep the pieces all together in one place so you can put them back together as you wish.

  Really I don't drink wine, I choose Miller Lite instead.... that is close enough to water I guess.

Okay caught up

TOLERANCE.... prayers for you and your Brian, good luck with the diet. Don't think of it as a diet, eat a burger if you want. I changed my eating habits, but still eat junk food occasionally and have lost 24 pounds in 4 months. If I can do it, you can too!!!

You inspire me..........details, sistah, details!  What did you change about your eating habits?  I am so proud of you.

Basically, I stopped eating breakfast in the cafeteria (bisquits and gravy, fried egg sammiches, etc), at first I would just eat salad for lunch, but the monkeys got onto me about that. So I get a big healthy lunch in the cafeteria of the hospital, and I eat 1/2 of a 7/11 sammich for dinner. I used to eat pizza every night and cut that out and eat it only as a treat.

One thing I didn't cut out is     

  You can do it!!!!!!!! Just start slowly and drink lots of water, something that I don't do.

You are so sweet JSM.  I need to start drinking more water too!

Oh thank-you so much, just having a bad day today, it was hard taking down my Zoe's avatar, but it was upsetting my daughter and myself, so I felt that it needed to be done. Doesn't and never will mean that I have forgotten her, that would be impossible. But I am apathetic with a lot of things, the young thoughts have gone, with more realistic thoughts and all I see is apathy. I can drink water with crystal light also, but only a little bit. Wine never agrees with me, I actually never drink anymore it was interfering with my pills, and it wasn't worth it. You will do great on your diet, but treat yourself so you don't feel angry about not having a piece of something you really like

Good for you with the weight loss, you look great    Yes doctor this afternoon.

Love the avi No Rose. Thanks about the weight loss. I asked the doctor what I weighed the last time I was in. 

Stress and excitement helped, and not worrying about your weight, you look just the perfect weight    My avatar is a little bit of schizophrenia, shattered and apathy going on.

I guess stress helped a bit, but after I saw the video of me in competition in May, I really tried to stop eating as much.

  I hope you aren't feeling shattered and apathetic.

Stress and you are very active and that helped, plus you cut back a lot of things from your diet. I'm like you, I just don't drink water unless you count the water in the coffee.  I do feel that way, use to think differently, but no more, this is the real me unfortunately or fortunately. But my love of animals that will never change.

JSM I was just going to look up those devices that let off a sound and check that out to keep the cat out of the yard, worth a look, and since these brain dead neighbors don't get keep your cat inside because of coyotes that is all I can do.

That sounds like it might be worth the investment. Wish we had those around my apartment, stupid cats woke me up around 4 this morning and I couldn't go back to sleep.

I hate liberals...... I really want to punch this guy in his cajones and then stomp on his face. He is cussing out a Holocaust survivor that was at the Ground Zero Mosque protest. It made me cry because that is not how an old man should be treated.

I think maybe a good soaking with the water hose on the cat a couple of times will keep it out of your yard.

You know what I don't get, this is a New York City issue that has now been taken to the front of everything. I know that you can't stop a person's place of worship, blah, blah, blah, but all this is, is insensitivity and I see no reason why this darn mosque can't be built further down away from ground zero. Our economy is horrible, we are still in two wars and I could go on and on, lets deal with these issues already. This has already taken top priority, and you should hear the arguments in this house over this topic

I am timid at the doctor's office because I take my xanax before I go, otherwise that might not be a good idea. When I went to do my eye exam and forgot to take it, and I got so panicked with thinking something bad was wrong with my eyes, I almost left    And if I really let loose, I don't think anybody would like me and tell me to leave I'm afraid. 

I'm hoping this appt goes as well at the last one. In and out....bada bada BOOM!

So kind.  I used to drink tons of water, once you get used to drinking it you like it - it is getting to that point that is hard.  I need to try again.
