Have you seen the things you attach to tree trunks that consist of eyebrows,eyes,nose and mouth? Well my obnoxious neighbour use to spend hours leaning on my fence staring at my place. Drove me nuts so I bought 6 of them and mounted them on the trees facing him and he had all these trees staring back at him. REALLY CREEPY

Hey GreenEyes and Cookie!   
It is beautiful outside today,just very hot.
Today will be a pick up sticks day.   

It is always pick up sticks day here, actually the needles that fall from the pine trees  It gets old and tiresome picking those stupid things up.

My brother has three large pines in his front yard. Besides all the needles the sap from those suckers is awful. 

The sap is awful, and it never fails when I pick those suckers up I get stuck from at least one. I use one of those grabber things in areas that I can't reach and that helps. I'm about ready to leave them on the ground and just say it is part of the atmosphere 

They you go.  But then the EPA or what ever it is would come and tell you that you causing a fire hazard by not keeping them cleaned up.

I didn't know that, and besides I'm too neat and orderly to let them lie on the ground, really need to work on being messy.  4 Donks, yes now I see why you don't ask for help   

You are fine just the way you are.  ::MonkeyAngel::But I have  friend that owns a cabin up around Big Bear and they have to keep all the pine needles cleaned up or they would get a ticket for being a fire hazard.

The weatherman says we are having oppressive heat...well no chit sherlock.    I could say that much.Where's my check?   
Heat index of 110 and humidity is 75%.

hell yes...you can barely buy regular size D batteries for $30 anymore, let alone a car battery lol!

after all the talk about Jerry Springer, I tuned him in today..am watching it right now...these people are trips! if someone hit me or pulled my hair like some of these women do to each other, I would be crying my eyes out! I can make fun,make faces and call names but I don't do fist fighting! I feel like a real Red Neck watching this!

I don't need to watch the Springer show, the contestants/participants are either in my office or on my phone everyday! I know why there are so many fatherless children out there, and it has nothing to do with looks.

I have been missing you lately JSM.  Thank you....all went well considering.  The weather was very hot and still is.  het index has been approx 102 since Sat and not letting up until next week.  I hope you are doing well.

RANT AGAIN.... A police officer on a motorcycle got hurt during the b*stards motorcade. We had one get killed during Hillary Clinton's visit when she was still running. I think I will have a ML and shut up now.

I used to dread having to go to training seminars with the boss or coworkers and would always be pleasantly surprised at how painless and unnerving they actually were.  I hope that is the case for you too Tevye.

It's Tuesday! Only 4 more days till the weekend!!!!!! (omg, I am SUCH a .gov whore!)

   I am dancing because Digger is finally asleep.He was chasing lizards and frogs last night while I was sitting outside.I am pretty sure the frogs made him sick.He is grounded again today.No Daddy time in the shop. 

Well hopefully he learned a lesson but more than likely nah!  Those darn frogs are nasty if a dog tries to get them, our dog has foamed at the mouth big time after trying to catch one and the silly thing goes back for more whenever he finds one.  I hope Digger will be ok.

There is nothing normal about that dog.
I had a patient one time that told me when he died he was coming back as a dog and would torment me.He did and it's name is Digger.
I think he is jealous of the Fakers next door getting so much attention.

Well another tree down but across the upper drive and it's too hot so I am going to ignore it till it cools down. I want to know why they always come down across the drives..you'd think occasionally they would fall in another direction

Isn't that the truth?  The trees always come down in the most inconvenient places.  Good idea to wait until it cools down that is a big job let alone in the heat.
