GreenEyes I hope it starts cooling down for you, that is mighty hot.  an angelic monkey

It is hot. But it's not as humid as others are. I just don't go out much. Makes for easy dinners as now one whats anything hot to eat. So have been having lots of sandwiches and easy one pot casseroles.
How are you doing? Glad it's Friday? You going camping his week end?

It went from crazy hot to a balmy 14C today (57F).  If the pool party was not tomorrow I would have shut off the pool heater and started getting the pool ready to drain.  Heater will be going 24/7 and if the kids are in it for only 5 minutes tomorrow I not be happy.  One one of my trips yesterday I noticed that some of the trees are starting to turn colour.  Seems too early but who can argue with a tree?

I should be picking beans but am doing laundry and cleaning (which is stupid considering I will have 11 teens here most of tomorrow) and now my daughter says she wants a black forrest cake instead of a honey cake.

One last trip tonight to the grocery store for the snacks and pop etc and then I come home to see if the Wii did fry during the lightening hit as well as the kids are complaining it is dead.
Northern we have several birch trees in our yard and they are beginning to shed their leaves already, I was shocked as it is only mid August.  Gosh I pray your Wii didn't fry that would not be good.

The hawks have been hunting like there is no tomorrow for the last two weeks.  To me that is a sure sign of a early winter for us as they usually do not get like this until early Sept.  Poplars are the ones I noticed turning yellow already.

Hey there Green Eyes    Are you going back and forth doing chores and and keeping up with SM at the same time?  I've been out to water the garden, check the forum, water the plants on the back deck, check the forum, water the plants on the front porch, check the forum, feed the doggies, check the forum and so forth...

That's what I keep doing all day, but I've been working in the garage, cabinets in the house, and watering plants in the yard.
