A funny/irritating OT true story.  My bf's daughter who gives me much insight into the caseyesque mindset and lifestyle recently decided that a vacation is in order. It's been a hard year of scamming and applying for grants and it's tough work keeping up with govt. assistance etc, so she pinned her hopes on going along to Virginia Beach for a sport competition, all that was required was go ask businesses for donations, have the kids sell coupon books which essentially was supposed to be for the athletes fares but with the coach's blessing (cause his family also benefitted) agreed that if she could raise funds the whole family could go. Basically a free ride for a pack of bums.

That's it in a nutshell. The time and effort expended on that and all her other schemes is unbelievable, to me working is easier. But when you've convinced yourself that you are too talented, too pretty, too busy, too, too, too for a mundane peon type job??? it's the thrill of getting it over on everyone and the " I deserve it" attitude. Makes me ill.
