Utah beating up on BYU pretty badly.

Lots of good games tomorrow.  We are off so I can relax and just sit back and enjoy.  Good luck to all monkeys!  Special mojo powers to Nascar's team.  I am sure he is doing such a great job with his guys.

Going to watch the little guy (6) play soccer in the a.m.  His sister (Cool and little bro (4) are in a regional soccer skills competition out of town.  She took first place here at the 8-10 age group and get this... wee one at the age of 4 took first place in boys under 8!  My bro coaches the HS team and he is one proud papa.

So who you got tomorrow?

TX vs OK - I gotta go with OK
FL vs Bama - Bama by a mile
Stanford vs OR - I call for an upset - Stanford.

My puppy is rooting for the Huskers but she'll have on a Husker jersey and a purple scarf.  If the game is close the scarf will be removed.   Monkey Devil!

Heh guys - the 4 yr old took first place!

Bro said he had more points than even the 10 yr old bracket!  You kick goals from different distances, minimum 15 ft and the goal width is adjusted starting at like 4 feet and goes down to 2 ft.  He hit 2 out of 3 at the narrowest width again.  3 of 3 at the next narrowest.  You should see him.  He won his first trophy AND a soccer ball.  He is floating all day.

Next week the other boy and the sister compete in Lincoln at the punt, pass and kick competition... Sis from AZ will be in town.  Good thing we play on Thursday night huh?

Holy Toledo... some wild wild endings today so far....

OK almost gave the game away to TX on stupid fumbles.

And my favorite was the LSU vs U TN game.. I feel so bad for the Vol team... they HAD it won.  Les Miles is an idiot.  But a lucky idiot today.

I agree, TN did have it won and Dooley looked so upset in the PC post the game too. Miles, ugh!

Bama wiped the floor with FL (downright demoralizing) but cuz would be happy to know that the analysts on ESPN were touting Arkansas would be the toughest opponent Bama faces this season.

PDH had a big fat win ! Enjoy!

NCSU let VTech sneak up on them and with 3 turnovers, well NCSU gave it away. I do think VTech is going to improve as the season continues, they made some adjustments on their defense and those proved to be good changes.

I can't believe UGA let Colorado win their game, what a bad season for UGA.........I like Richt so much but this is a bit of a disaster season for them.

GO sorry to hear about your coach, I hope he can heal and the team can bounce back.

kiwi - you had a good day, hope you enjoyed it.

The state paper called for Butch Davis' firing on Friday but with another win this weekend, it's doubtful that's going to happen but it probably should.

KTF is a Washinton fan (they BEAT USC) Washington State (lead early) lost to UCLA.

FL, TN and GA are having some difficulties....

Les Miles mismanages the clock AGAIN.... and LSU somehow manages to win another game in the last seconds. They did NOT deserve that win.
I admire Matt Simms, the QB1 for TN. That kid has taken a beating for 5 weeks in a row, and he just keeps on getting up and trying to win. He has a lot of guts. I wanted the win for him, dang it.
I think this loss broke CDD's heart.

We won in a big way...just what we needed. WDE!

klaas! Congrats on the win! I got a kick out of some of the Game Day signs.

Bama is just rolling over everybody at the moment. I do think So. Carolina could be a threat to them, and you never know what Lady Luck will bring LSU.

And then there's Auburn......

GO...sorry for the loss. Michigan State had extra incentive due to their Coach Dantonio being hospitalized. He was texting and calling during the game.....

I bet his DR. was having a fit!

They must be a 2nd half team because the same thing happened against TN.  Obviously the coaches make great adjustments.  I'm still in shock at what the fans chant during the game.     F bombs on national tv?

Well I sure goofed, it wasn't the Badger's coach who had the heart attack!! That's what you get when you try to watch while baking

Bean, I completely agree about the language of some fans, it's out of control.

Back to baking.............

None.. we forgive you... and knew what you meant...

Spartys were playing for their coach and it showed.  Sad thing is he was readmitted to the hospital due to a blood clot in his leg.  Guess it is common after heart procedures... but the team sure fought hard... I wouldn't have thought they'd beat WI.  Good win for them, hard loss for WI.

How about the end of that LSU/TN game?  I'm with PDH... TN won that game.  It reminded me of when they put 1 second back on the clock in our TX game last year.  Heartbreaking when you think you win a good one and it gets reversed.  But thats sports.

None, how did son's team do this week?

Hey nonesy....I wasn't calling you out! I promise!  I knew what you meant.

I just thought it was a cute story that the MSU coach was calling plays from his hospital bed!
Coaches just seem incapable of turning it off...

I bet you were baking something wonderful!

I agree about the fans using vulgar language. It's always happened, but it seems to be a much bigger problem now.
