Yup... and drink some beer!
If you know people that are going to the Mariner game tell them the Pyramid Alehouse is a great pre-game spot to eat and have some microbrews!Right across the street from Safeco Field.

http://www.pyramidbrew.com/

Another great place is Jimmys on First.950 KJR does their gameday broadcasts from here. Also right across the street from Safeco Field!

As a native I've personally never taken the Underground tour, but everyone I've spoken to has given it rave reviews.

http://www.undergroundtour.com/

Pass along to Husker fans.If you want any other info for them, let me know! an angelic monkey

How about Pike Street fish market on the waterfront. Personal favorite for seafood. KTF did I get the Pike Street part right? Only been to Seattle once, but definitely on my top ten cities and near the top.

Bo just loves dealing with the media as you no doubt know.  So when asked about starters you can imagine how patient and open he is in sharing information.  Monkey Devil!

Here's today's "news":
He had no meaningful update on the quarterback situation. Asked if there was a chance Nebraska could rotate quarterbacks this season, he said, "There's a chance we could play 10 guys. Anything can happen."

He said we'll find out the starting quarterback on Sept. 4 -- the day of Nebraska's opener against Western Kentucky.

"I'm not answering any quarterback questions," he said.

Based on Bo's comments, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a release of an official depth chart.

"Guys who trot out there for the first play are the starters. Until then, it's a competition to see who steps up," he said.

Just for fun.....look-alike threads are a tradition on some forums. Here are some good ones.

There are a few classics on both threads....

PDH - yep we do that on our boards also and I usually read them right before the game for laughs.  It amazes me when they find cartoon characters and women that look so much like the kids.  How do they do it?  Hysterical.

Getting close... can't wait for season!

yea Va Tech did one of those threads last season, they didn't have a photo for son but nicknamed him "Cletus"

PDH glad to see you posting, I've been worried !

Kiwi I once went to a fish market on the waterfront in Seattle, about 3 years ago with a team from work - but I cannot remember the name for the life of me - but it was delicious.

Looks like I'll be getting some time off finally, half of our division is being downsized.........such fun. Guess now I'll have time to make one of son's games after all.

For Kiwi and anyone else traveling to the Emerald City!If you have any questions about a restaurant Kiwi,I will give you my opinion if I've eaten there!

http://www.seattlesbestrestaurants.com/

None.Would it have been potentially called Etta's,and or the Athenian Inn?

Those would be the closest I would guess in regards to potentially where None ate.I may be wrong but, with Tom Douglas you're pretty sure to get great food and ambiance. His restaurant "Dahlia lounge" was in the movie Sleepless in Seattle but it has since moved!Enough Culinary info.... an angelic monkey

Wow thank you! Hadn't actually thought about coming in until now for the ASU game. Sounds very nice. Need to check the dates and costs. If not this year definitely in the future.
