The BCS debate is one I won't step into - like corporate america, it's rather corrupt.

I am surprised no one's posted about this video interview with Malzahn's wife?

http://deadspin.com/5868492/heres-the-bizarre-kristi-malzahn-interview-somebodys-trying-to-sweep-off-the-internet

LOL  Hi None!  I did see this earlier and it is beyond bizarre... Can' believe she'll represent any school well... they say she has slept with his players... can you imagine?  What a liability.

Happy New Year to all our Scared Monkey Friends! How did Washington do vs Baylor last night? We should have a bunch of Bowl games coming up fast now. Kiwi's Dawg House has been completely set up for your viewing.

Hi Kiwi!

That was an awesome game if you like offense!  It was very entertaining as the lead exchanged so many times I lost count.  I stayed up past my bedtime to watch it. lol.  Baylor pulled out the W but it could have gone either way.  I was impressed with the way that both teams really fought hard and refused to quit.  And the QB from Washington, Price is a total stud.  He had better stats than RG3 did.  Kid is a sophmore too.  He is one to watch.

I am waiting for the OK vs IA game to come on.  Need to get a bowl schedule together so I can plan my chores around the games Smile

Happy New Year Monkey friends.  Peace on Earth.

oh I saw how she waxed rhapsodic about Cam in the video - guess I didn't assume it was more than eye candy? My mind just cannot go to the cougar scenario - TMI

Kiwi watching your game right now... It wasn't the Big 10 curse that got us... it was ourselves.  You can bank on it - if Bo loses his composure on the sideline the team falls apart.. its the sickest thing.. I am so over it.  He needs to grow up and realise he is hurting us.  Infuriating.

Yes, congrats to Klaas and Wreck on some nice wins.  Fun games too.

Cuz, good luck in your game and better yet congrats on becoming a grannie!  wow.

None - good to hear from you and hope you are having some fun while trying to live on both coasts.  Hope the new job is enjoyable too!  That counts!

Bean, not bi-coastal yet but will be in two weeks. New job is a executive role so no complaints here. I'll miss family and friends but I'll be back on the east coast in 4 to 6 months once the acquisitions on the west coast and assimilated and in the fold.

I watched part of your game and yes Bo was emotional but I guess I didn't watch enough for I didn't notice a direct correlation with the team's performance and his emotions.

College football is just harder now, the SEC really has taken a hold over the top of the heap and it makes the pressure all the greater on other conferences for big wins. I know of one HC that is so concerned over the Big East's new org that he's been trying to bolt to another conference - then there is the coaching carousel that just seems to spin faster and faster. Makes one long for the good old days.

Son's new coach did give him 48 hours off for xmas, I'll send you a photo of us on xmas eve, it made my xmas to have him home if only for such a short time.

Waiting for Monday Night's big show down ... LSU vs. BAMA.

Although I must say, I kinda wish that they pitted LSU and Alabama against teams from other conferences. Having witnessed the lack of defense during the Bowl season and the VIDEO game like scores ... I think that some teams that complained about not being in the BCS National Championship game can probably thank their lucky stars that they did not have to face either the LSU or BAMA defenses.

No disrespect to those that root for other teams, but we will be seeing most of the Tide and Tigers defense playing on Sundays in the future.

Just how good is the SEC West ... http://espn.go.com/ncf/conferences/standings?confId=8&year=2011

#1 & #2 teams LSU and Alabama play for BCS National Championship.
Arkansas 29 - Kansas St 16.
Auburn 43 - Virginia 24
Mississippi St 23 - Wake Forest 17

The NFL playoffs have pretty much been a yawn unless one of your teams won as this weekend as there have been no close games.

Although watching the Steelers - Broncos game, Denver up 7-6. What happens if the Broncos pull the upsets of all upsets and win? Elway and the Denver management are going to be forced into keeping Tebow at QB. Something that I believe they do not want to do.

UPDATE I: WOW, Denver up 14-6, Tebow runs in for TD. The Steelers are terribly banged up in this game. Is it possible? Could Pittsburgh really lose?

Red,  I will give you LSU, Bama and Arkansas are all very very good.  Auburn was not that good this year - big deal that they beat Virginia?  Miss State beating Wake Forest is a surprise?  Nah... Make the SEC live by the same oversigning guidelines that other conferences enforce and see what happens.  I won't bring up scholastics, graduation and class attendance.     But I disgress....

The problem with the bowl games is the match ups are BS.  We are lucky they let #1 and #2 play for the championship. LOL
