Katu.com is reporting that Terri is being escorted by deputies into the court house. Is this for the divorce proceedings?

I assume it is. Dang, it's almost 5:00pm here, must be around 2:00pm there.

It's 3:00 P.M. here in Oregon right now. What time was she supposed to go to court?

Newspaper says 3:00pm.

Hi Monkeys, I have a serious question, I can't remember the first 8 1/2 years of my life my Mother was hurriedly wisked away from our hometown by my Dad's family (no joking)and immediatedly divorced from him.  I was never in contact with him and never given an explanation.  My GGF supposed molested my cousin and it was hush hused and he was and alcoholic.  When my Mom ran from my Dad she moved us in with my GGParents (yes, that one and his wife).  I'm positive my Mom knew nothing of these accusations then.  We lived with them 3 yrs. and then they babysat me some.  This is the time I have no knowledge of.  My middle class fam was the don't ask, don't tell type old fashioned, southern family.  I now am to the point of maybe I need to know the root of some of my problems but so far I've lived a dysfunctional normal life.  I cried so hard for you Monkeys after learning your pain and terror you lived through.  I'm so sorry!  I want to hold you, scream for you, take your pain and throw it away.  Most of all I'd go back in your past and take a hammer to the problems, if you know what I mean.  Knowing what you know now...am I better off not knowing if something terrible did happen as long as I am maintaining and things are pretty good?  Sorry Mods, this is OT but in the same vain and some of our children on the threads have endured some of the same with worse endings.  God rest their soul.  God Bless you too survivors!

Melisb;

I'm sending this love to you to help you heal.  I realize this is off topic, everyone please accept my apology for this.  Melisb please understand that the reason you can't remember what happened is a COPING MECHANISM.  I learned all about this because I can't remember much from really 1st grade to 6th or 7th grade.  I thought it was NORMAL.  Then as an adult I started to ask other people and found out that no, it's not 'normal'.

In a bad accident people will recount not remembering.  I know of a man who hit a semi with his car.  His airbags saved his life but in the emergency room when he was telling about the accident he said he could remember a landmark along side the road and this was MILES before the accident and that was it, his memory is wiped clean of that accident and all the miles in between.

My understanding is that there's a reason we forget, it's because what happened to us was so bad that we just don't remember.   I had a therapist who wanted to hypnotize me to get me to remember and I said WHY??  If my brain has shut it out who am I to go against what nature wants?

Most of your normal 'dysfunction' probably is learned behavior from high anxiety and being around people who are dysfunctional.  You have never had a 'normal' role model.  Neither have I.

Stay strong, you are a SURVIVOR.

Justamama  I have odd feelings about Jason also, just can't exactly pinpoint and put it down in words. I really have to say that I'm not sure if that is his father who was arrested on child porn. Do we know that for sure?

Hi NoRose & Monkeys,  TraceyGirl I am waiting for my Whiskey:)

The Wolf in Sheeps Clothing?

He visited here to glean information, betcha, for his writings.  He is somewhere else gleaning more info. IMO

how about a nice refreshing maggie instead! We need a monkey with a whiskey bottle!

Or I can play a game of football with you...
Or I can do a cartwheel!
Or perhaps you are in the mood for chicken?
Or a pretty blue flower, would that be nice! flower
I can draw a nice bubblebath for you!
We can go back to our childhood and I can clean your room!

hmmm I just can't find a whiskey icon

Traceygirl, very creative and funny  Thank-you.
::MonkeyHaHa::At least you didn't tell me that I scared Jason away

I don't have one photo of myself as a child, everyone threw my pictures away. LOL.  I must be scarey looking.

Thank you very much, but this is the problem: If something did happen I don't want to drive my Mom away.  She lives on the bank of the river d'Nile!  She is all I have left but would be the person who actually put me in harms way.  Do I go for help now or just pray that I never have a flare up with a bad reaction.  Don't know what to do.  All the pain you went through, would you had rather blanked out that time of your life or deal with it.  That is my dilemmma.  Last time I post about it sorry.

Thank you zippidy.

The news article says Terri is there, but Kaine is absent. In the last proceeding Kaine was there, but Terri wasn't.

Kinda like some musical chairs going on.

The lawyers are discussing whether to postpone the divorce hearings until after Kyron's probe is finished.

Sea you are a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L Monkey and don't ever second guess yourself.  You couldn't help the idiots in your life.  Shame on them.  I have pics and no memory and my big brown/black eyes are so dead.  I've never even looked in the mirror at my own face.  It's okay.  I have a wonderful hubby whose eyes don't burn me when I see him looking at me and the most wonderful, sweet child on this earth.  Ky remind me of my Son in some way and I don't know what it is.  I just see sweet and innocent in Ky.  My Son is not spoiled by MySpace, FB, foul language, sneaking to look at porno and other things.  I kinda feel like Kyron is the same way.  My baby won't even entertain the attention of other kids trying to get him to do bad things.  He comes to his parents and lets us know.  God has blessed me beyond reason.  I'm sometimes scared because he isn't the normal kid.  Maybe he's missing out some of the fun we all had I dunno.  I feel like Ky is this way too. I still feel that maybe he is young for his age like my Son.

The KGW report says that Kaine is in attendance at the hearing. Don't you love the conflicting reporting.
