2. Portland, Oregon. The Shanghai Tunnels of Portland, AKA the Portland Underground, may have a pretty shady past. The tunnels connected a bunch of basements of business and bars in the Old Town/Chinatown district and are said to have been built to get goods from the docks to the businesses without clogging up the streets in town. But more than one source says the tunnels were used for other purposes: to kidnap (shanghai) people who got too drunk in the bars and then sell them into the slave trade, using the tunnels to get them to the docks and ship them out. It’s never been proven, but Portland Underground Tours will give you a good idea of how it could have happened (they maintain that it absolutely did happen).

I knew they were "IN" Portland ... but had NO IDEA they reached as far out as Forest Park 

would not surprise me at all that there are some old military tunnels of some kind out there.. pretty interesting.  I know a little bit about this stuff, but I'm not going to talk about it LOL

  Terri has dug a hole so huge that she cannot even attempt to crawl out of it.
If she would have stepped up even for her own self in " JUNE" she would not be under the scrutiny of the national public - I honestly believe she has out ranked the most hated Female in the USA - Casey Anthony ..  I don't feel a minute for Terri. She had plenty of time to offer a statement before she lawyered up. She could not offer " Not One Word" for Kyron  - NOT one. She is in the position of losing everything today - because she chose not to speak. She chose this path and now she is living it.  Which I do not understand her " Stomp" walking in the hall of court.

If she was trying to protect Kyron ? would it not have been the right thing to do to offer a statement? That she was of knowledge that Kyron was not safe and she wanted to protect him - what ever statement she could have made at the time. ( Not her hiding him or taking him away) but Something of a statement that she felt he was at risk - she though offered to OPT out. Not One word has she ever said in audio " I would love to hear her voice".

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but is there any indication of how long the GJ might take? And also, if and when an indictment is handed down, how long does it take for the actual arrest? TIA

The GJ has asked for a 2 month extension on the gag order so it could last a while.  They could ask for an extension again.  The answer is nobody knows.

I am taking vacation next week to finish and win the battle of the Blackberries.  Also preparing for fall weather to start and the rainy season.

My daughter and I are planning a fishing trip together.  Not sure where just yet but one of our old fishing holes from when she was much younger.  I can guarantee you it won't be Sauvie Island.  I might never go there again. I will keep in touch as I will be home everyday at some point. 

 I am so looking forward to a week off of work and more time with my furkids.
