Gray/ formerly known as (?)  , now known as Grey
you are starting to sound more and more like a monkey who has already recreated hirself once or twice before
or, maybe my bs detector is overreacting?    been in the Caylee thread too long tonight.

Can't you speculate and track someone better than that? This is probably my sixth "recreation" here, or maybe that is BS. Put fresh batteries in your detector and let me know.

All for One & One for ALL / that ONE? KYRON

Lemme ask y'all... whoever wants to answer.. or it can be one of those hmmm kind of questions.

What were you doing on the morning of January 21, 2007?  What where you wearing?  Who did you see that day?  See anyone wearing a red top, driving a blue sedan?

LOL..

Heck, I can't even remember what I was doing/wearing last week!

@Tolerance: First, sorry for your loss. Next, you bring to light the point I think of any time someone asks the question of "would you remember specific things on a specific day?" I would not remember a random day pulled off the calendar. BUT- I would remember a day if something extremely good happened (my wedding) or the details if something bad happened (my kid was just abducted). I might not remember what the principle was wearing but I sure would remember where I was & what I did & would have rough times as well. I WOULD NOT put times like 10:17 or 2:22. I tend to round the numbers. 10:15 or 2:20. I am suspicious if people seem to know to the minute where they were.
OH my dearest Wyks.........................how the heck did you pick THAT day?  No, really, HOW?????????
I was wearing black jeans and a grey sweatshirt.
I was lying next to Brian in the hospital bed I had put up in our bedroom.
I was giving morphine shots.
I was giving pain meds rectally, also.
I saw my sister, our children, and our pastor.
I saw a hearse come at 5:10 that afternoon.  2 people came from the Funeral home.  A woman and a man.  The man had on a black suit and the woman had on a navy blue skirt and weird boots........I remember the boots.
They put a beautiful quilt on Brian and took him away...................
How did you pick that day???
Isn't it strange that of all the days in forever you picked that day?
Wow.
You would have really liked Brian.  Everyone did.  Our friends called us 'Brat" instead of Brian and Pat.
It's okay, it is a comforting memory, that day, because he did it just the way he wanted to....at home.
Hugs

Posters will notice far more speculation in the threads where there is skimpy information or where Law Enforcement is being tight lipped with thier investigations. Some posters tolerate the speculation better than others, and others embrace it. I suggest tolerance and appreciation of each other's interests. At the point any post becomes a personal attack, administration or a mod will step in. Just a reminder so we all know what to expect. Thanks!

Grey,

"All he did was mow the grass at the soccer field."

You don't know that as fact and neither do I, this is just what he said.

Terri said she "left Kyron at school".

Kaine said he "went to work".

One parent said there were "no strangers" at the school.

Sorry, just because someone says something doesn't make it so.

Hi CBB,    and you're welcome!

And yes I agree.  I understand the need for moving the wall, it's just so very sad that it needs to be done.

It feels like a milestone of some kind to have to put anything away while Kyron is still missing, but the reasons are sound. They have a point that the wall remaining there is an invitation for strangers to be milling about. I also agree that the emotional impact isn't encouraging to students returning to school. It just seems odd to be purposefully minimizing the urgency when Kyron hasn't been found.

I wonder why they changed the press conference?

CBB

Speaking of speculation, B. speculates that TMH is on house arrest.  B. did not say she TMH is on house arrest, she speculates. The B.'s speculation is logical is my view, because James said, TMH can't go out.  Why can't she go out?  I never heard ever of someone that can't go out. Perhaps she is on H.A.

http://www.worldtimezone.com/time-us12.html  The time zone map. IDK if this is helpful for the family presser today.

Am not sure what this is about.  This came across KATU's twitter about 7 hours ago, but they have nothing up yet about it on their main news page.  Maybe just changing up the format in the way they were gonna handle it?  I did read where they called it 'an event'.  That it was supposedly going to last 2 hrs long.  Maybe they each are going to take an hour?  Guess we'll see a bit later on.

Am thinking that's the part that gets to me, CBB.  It feels like moving the wall is minimizing the urgency, at a time where we don't really want there to be any loss of momentum.  Maybe that won't happen tho, wherever they've chosen for wall to go.

Hi Wyks  ,

Let's see what happens today, Thank-you for the twitter update.  Perhaps KATU canceled the mainstream coverage?
One of the stations was going stream it live.  I am speculating if it was KATU.

The news conference is likely still schecule, just not aired by KATU?

I'm adding a link to the B.'s speculation.

http://blinkoncrime.com/2010/08/26/kyron-horman-case-terri-horman-attorneys-call-her-a-suspect/comment-page-1/#comments
B.'s response to Comment 3 is where B. speculates on the House Arrest.

Hi Monkeys,

With all due respect, few facts and all speculation aside, I find it extremely odd in this case that the two "unnamed" suspects who have been under the most fire, have been in relationships with some one whose next of kin has been recently jailed for a child sex offense or subscribing to child pornography.

Hi everyone,

I want to share this with you. I don't know if it will help but it brought a little relief to me and for obvious reasons saddened me. As I have mentioned before my dad died recently. I received a book from an old family friend tonight. It was a book about Dayton Leroy Rogers called Blood Lust by Gary King. It was also a book about my dad who was Sheriff of Clackamus County (Portland,Or.) at the time and the team of detectives that caught this sick evil serial killer.  I cannot imagine what they all have gone through with their jobs. I do know they lived it, breathed it, and never gave up no matter what it looked like from the outside. I know this because I know my dad, he was hard core. They were also a team, they stuck together, even now, these guys were at my dad's funeral.

So what's the point for you and me here at S.M.?

It's hope....That's all just hope, trust and faith in that which we cannot see

The copy I recieved tonight is signed by the author and several of the detectives on the case.

Here is what one of them said " This case and so many others were successfully investigated by your detective division not just because of our intensive training, but more importantly because you fostered the attitude; Do it right, take all the time you need to do it right and come to me when you need anything and we will get it done"

And that was a long time ago without all the technology of today.

I hope this gives a little something to anyone who has lost faith in the detectives. I don't have any answers but I am still hoping they do and like my dad said they are just "doing it right"....

OMG! I so remember that case.  I was living in Gladstone at the time and we used to go eat at the restaurant where the first victim was found.

I also knew Lisa Marie Mock's ex husband. He was in total shock when he found out she was one of the victims.

I never met your Father but no doubt he was a great man.  I'm sorry to hear you have lost him.  My best to you.

It is my prayer that Kyron be found and return home. Of course like everyone else I want him found alive but feel his parents need peace and closure. May this happen before Spring 2011.

I think the "press event" will be individual interviews with different news sources like they did a while back. They sat and answered questions from different reporters. The interviews were timed. Like 15 minutes or so with each news organization. Then each interview is presented individually by the news sources when they choose to present them.

I hope that makes sense, I couldn't sleep last night, so I got up, and am at about 50% brainpower atm. LOL

I don't think there will be any "live" event today.

Grey,
Discussing the various aspects in a case, and speculating on things, is what we do here.  Nothing new.  Read in any thread across the board and you'll find the same thing being done.  Taking jabs at folks for doing what we do on a regular basis, seems rather mean and uncalled for, IMO.  Not sure if that is what you intend at all.

It's called brainstorming which can be quite productive IMO.

Good morning Monkeys!

CBB - nice to see you around.

Tolerance - Sorry to hear about your husband.  Sounds as though you were both blessed in one another and although he has left for another dimension, love remains.  an angelic monkey

tnmomb - Thank you for your faith in LE.  How proud you must be of your Dad.  Condolences.   ::MonkeyAngel:

I believe that it is viable to take a look @ people Terri might have been in contact with.  I don't find it unreasonable to think she might have been very aware of men in her surroundings, given her sexting during the early days of Kyron's disappearance.  I think it's entirely possible she felt that men fancied her and she played this to enhance her own feelings of herself.
I see a similarity in the LS and the SO.  Taking a good look at people in her life, whoever they are is unfortunate for the innocents, but nonetheless could be crucial.  It's what good law enforcement do, so I don't see why a forum of this nature wouldn't.  IMO.
