About "de facto suspect"...

...meaning what we already know... all facts point to her but she has not been officially charged.

I don't know how can the divorce be settled because most of it relies on her murder for hire plot, and how can she testify to the veracity of the accusation without getting herself incriminated.

Can't you speculate and track someone better than that? This is probably my sixth "recreation" here, or maybe that is BS. Put fresh batteries in your detector and let me know.
Nah, no batteries needed.  BS stinks, and everyone can smell it.  Carry on.

So, last night I read that William Kent Name Redacted2 is from Roseburg. Since I am in Roseburg, I thought I could finally be useful and earn my keep bananas. I have posted the obituary for William Sr. over in the JW board. Now, I am off to figure out the Kerr connection...bad case of CRS.

I think speculation is fine, as long as the person being speculated on doesn't know. Very Happy

I see this place as a backyard corner spot where there's always sunshine, where everyone grabs a rock and sits under a giant oak tree to sip tea or lemonade (spiked or not) and between sips everyone takes time to shout his/her mind.

Here's to the alcoholic monkeys ---->

--------

I don't think Terri is in house arrest, or... we would've known by now.

Most of her silence and housebounding has to do with her attorney, I'm sure. The pressure of having news reporters and photographers follow her around also may be another reason.

I tend to believe it's more her attorney also.  I don't know what contacts B has or doesn't have, so maybe she knows more?  I think James was just repeating what she told him, and I think her attorney has threatened to quit if she doesn't follow his advice.  SM is a great place until monkeys start getting hateful and trashing every post they don't happen to agree with.  It's okay to disagree, but nonproductive and just hateful when you are an a$$ about it. (not saying this about you, just commenting your comment, LOL) Bold in blue by  me.

Hi everyone,

I want to share this with you. I don't know if it will help but it brought a little relief to me and for obvious reasons saddened me. As I have mentioned before my dad died recently. I received a book from an old family friend tonight. It was a book about Dayton Leroy Rogers called Blood Lust by Gary King. It was also a book about my dad who was Sheriff of Clackamus County (Portland,Or.) at the time and the team of detectives that caught this sick evil serial killer.  I cannot imagine what they all have gone through with their jobs. I do know they lived it, breathed it, and never gave up no matter what it looked like from the outside. I know this because I know my dad, he was hard core. They were also a team, they stuck together, even now, these guys were at my dad's funeral.

So what's the point for you and me here at S.M.?

It's hope....That's all just hope, trust and faith in that which we cannot see

The copy I recieved tonight is signed by the author and several of the detectives on the case.

Here is what one of them said " This case and so many others were successfully investigated by your detective division not just because of our intensive training, but more importantly because you fostered the attitude; Do it right, take all the time you need to do it right and come to me when you need anything and we will get it done"

And that was a long time ago without all the technology of today.

I hope this gives a little something to anyone who has lost faith in the detectives. I don't have any answers but I am still hoping they do and like my dad said they are just "doing it right"....

This is just excellent, thank you so much for sharing this with us.  I still think the people a generation ago were cut from some tough cloth.

My thoughts are with you on the loss of your father.

Bull,

Question, please:  Can the Attorney quit?  Would he need to give back the retainer?  I am so  curious.  TIA

Hi Monkeys,

With all due respect, few facts and all speculation aside, I find it extremely odd in this case that the two "unnamed" suspects who have been under the most fire, have been in relationships with some one whose next of kin has been recently jailed for a child sex offense or subscribing to child pornography.

Agreed. Coincidence or not, it's unsettling either way.

So TMH wore a skirt to court.  I'm now wondering with all the great technology we have is it possible there is some kind of monitoring device that is much smaller and attached to her somewhere else.  Imagine if in the future they could come up with an implant that could be removed later on but that the person themselves couldn't remove.  How great would that be.  They could put these in the bad guys and monitor them, locate they anytime they wanted.  A very small little GPS device that could in fact be tracked 24hrs a day.  That would be so awesome.  First sexual offense you get one injected and thereby always monitored the rest of your life.

Ok another cup of coffee needed here.

Now, why would TH Go to another social site when she was so active on FB? Notice who is on her friends list and also her last active date, 3 months ago. That would be May. Also she lists her hometown as Burlington, Or. WTH?

Second offense, send off to Rape Island, never to return to society. Only communication with the world would be through USPS and online chat.

Umm... gotta think this one.

Put GPS devices on all children under 16 or 18 and put GPS devices on all convicted sexual predators. Alarms to go off if a predator and a child are within 10 feet of one another for over one minute.

Nope. Won't work. Alarms would be forever going off and someone would complain about noise pollution.

Also, they all joined within one week of each other, and stopped being active 3 months ago.

I like the idea, but instead of an audible alarm, how about the SO's get a shock?  The first shock is mild, if they don't move away, the second shock is worse, and then finally, a shock similar to a taser puts them on the ground.
