ORLANDO —
Attorneys Jose Baez and Cheney Mason will hold a news conference Tuesday morning to introduce three new lawyers who’ve joined the Casey Anthony defense team.

A new death penalty specialist will try and keep Anthony off death row, while an Ocala lawyer will help with expert witness depositions.

The third is a pro-bono attorney who will take over the civil case brought by Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman who is suing Anthony for defamation.

I was cleaning out some 'stuff' and found a comment JB made...but not date....that he had a photo of Zanny with Caylee at JB Park....does anyone else remember this?  I wish I had kept better notes early on...but who the hell would have thought this would have gone on this long? Why has he never produced this photo

I remember Sunny.....if I had to guess, I'd say late 2008, the "Zanny in the park picture" fairy tale was started.

They (BOZO & the Anthonys) have lied about SO much it is hard to keep up with all the lies if we don't have notes. I wonder if they think no one keeps records of them and they can just tell what they want with no consequences.

     I agree. No way, Jose the jury will be picked from Dade County (because that's where Bozo would like it to be picked from: where he wanted the case tried).  My wild guess: Palm Beach County.

I think the jury will come from the panhandle somewhere. That area is not much into what if going on in other parts of the state and more aligned with South Georgia and South Alabama.

Lawyers Decline To Reveal Topic

ORLANDO, Fla. -- In an unusual move, Casey Anthony's defense team scheduled a press conference on Monday that is only hours away.

Anthony's lead attorney, Jose Baez, sent an e-mail to Local 6 that said he and fellow defense attorney Cheney Mason will hold a news conference Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.

Local 6 attempted to contact the pair to discover the topic of the planned press conference, but neither attorney could be reached.

Immediately after the Anthony conference, Mason said he plans to hold a second press conference regarding former Florida GOP chairman Jim Greer, who is accused of stealing $125,000 from the state Republican party.

Mason declined to release the reason for that press conference as well; however, the Orlando Sentinel reported that attorneys for both parties in that case have agreed to delay the trial until next year.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A major announcement is expected in the Casey Anthony case after defense attorney Jose Baez called for a Tuesday morning news conference.

The news conference will be held outside the attorney's Kissimmee office. Many have already speculated about what Baez plans to announce.

Some sources have said a new attorney, Roy Black, will be added to the team. Black is no stranger to high profile cases.
Black represented Rush Limbaugh on charges related to the talk radio host's alleged misuse of prescription painkillers.

Black would fill a void left by death penalty expert Andrea Lyon, who left the case in June.

Recently, Ocala attorney Dorothy Clay Sims was added to the team to focus on depositions leading up to the trial, which is set for May, 2011.
