New documents have been released in the murder case against Casey Anthony.

The documents, released Tuesday morning, include audio interviews and photos.

We are sorting through the latest batch of evidence now. Check back later today to see the latest pictures, video and audio in the case against Casey.
Among the photos are several of Casey’s daughter, Caylee, wearing a pink T-shirt that reads “Big trouble comes in small packages,” while sitting next to Casey.

A shirt just like that was found near the 2-year-old’s remains nearly six months after Caylee was last seen alive.

Another group of photos appears to be from a search for Caylee’s body by a group including bounty hunter Leonard Padilla in 2008.

Tuesday’s document dump is the latest since August, when the state of Florida released letters to Casey Anthony from her mother, Cindy.

Prosecutors released pictures, interviews, and emails in the case against Casey Anthony Tuesday
The interviews are mainly with volunteers who helped search for Caylee Anthony in the woods where her remains were eventually found in December 2008. But when they tried to search the area in the months beforehand, all of the volunteers said the area was too flooded by Tropical Storm Fay to do a thorough search.

"That area where the remains were found was underwater. That area was definitely underwater," said Tony Rovinsky.

Defense attorneys could hope to use the fact that Texas Equusearch found nothing in the area as proof that Caylee's body was placed in the woods after Casey Anthony was already in jail, and that someone else must have murdered the 2-year-old girl.

The new evidence also includes a series of emails between Anthony's former friend, Ricardo Morales, and a tabloid magazine. They discuss a contract under which Morales would provide American Media with photographs of Casey Anthony with Caylee in exchange for at least $1,500.

I'm not sure how Joy means this, now that I have listened to that sentence over and over again.  she says "....this is how it was right before the body was discovered (slight pause here) back last October and also in July...."  So does she mean the body was discovered in October or does she mean that the woods looked like this in Oct., right before the body was discovered (in D,ec.)?  I think the latter.

Casey Anthony's Defense Team Questions Lab

ORLANDO, Fla. -- New details emerged Tuesday in the case against Casey Anthony as the state released pictures and audio interviews, while the defense team questions lab evidence.

On Tuesday morning, the state attorney's office released a CD filled with audio interviews and pictures. Some of the pictures show Anthony with her daughter, Caylee, while others show a search site and the trunk of Anthony's car.

Some of the images show the carpet liner inside the trunk of Anthony's car, including a stain that an FBI agent said appeared to be an outline of a child in the fetal position. An FBI lab supervisor, however, said the agency cannot speculate what the stain may look like and the agent's testimony will not be heard at trial.

Based upon evidence released so far, it appears the FBI does not know what caused the stain and it has not been linked to Caylee. Investigators said the trunk of the car, however, did contain evidence of human composition, including insects and the smell and chemicals produced by a decaying body.

Among the audio released by the state attorney's office on Tuesday, were interviews with volunteers who searched for Caylee. Anthony's defense team has suggested that a stranger killed Caylee and put her body in the woods after her mother was jailed.
But according to volunteer searcher Jennifer Conoway, the woods surrounding the Anthony family home were so flooded in August 2008 that it would have been impossible for someone to walk through the area.

"The water that was there was deep you could actually visually see water?" an investigator asked Conoway.

"Yes, sir," she said.

"From the roadway?"

"You could see water when the wind blew, you could see the water roll. That's how deep it was. But you couldn't tell how physically deep it was because you didn't know how far the road was built up around it," she said.

Prosecutors also released photos of Anthony with her daughter that have been seen before. The photographs were purchased by "The Globe" about a month after Caylee was reported missing.

Two of Anthony's ex-boyfriends, Ricardo Morales and J.P. Chatt, sold the photos to the tabloid for $1,500, according to e-mails exchanged between the men and the magazine publisher. The e-mails show the men trying to work out a contract with the tabloid that would guarantee payment even if the photos were not used.
Anthony's defense team, meanwhile, will be in Tennessee on Tuesday, interviewing scientists from the Oak Ridge Lab.

The lab is credited with analyzing evidence and performing "air tests" that showed chemicals associated with human decomposition were found inside Casey Anthony's cars.

Anthony, 24, is jailed on first-degree murder charges in the death of Caylee, whose remains were found in December 2008. Caylee was 2 years old when she was reported missing in July 2008.

Anthony has pleaded not guilty. Her murder trial is scheduled to begin in May.
