Got the calculator last night at Staples.  It was on sale for $249 and they had two left.  Thank you for the offer Mission, that was so kind of you to think of us.

I feel like a insta-bank right now.

Daughter brought home note from Gym teacher - Sweats $30, shorts $20, T-shirt $10 = $60
Band (even though she has her own flute and is taking it to school - $30
So there goes another $90 out the door this morning

Youngest came home with some of his as well, milk tickets for the month -$15
Hotdog lunches once a month for 4 months - $15.40
Agenda - 10.00
there goes another $40

So this morning I am $130 for notes and $249 for calculator - which is $379 is 24 hours.  Can not wait to see what they bring home today.  Still not gotten the invoices for the school fees or any of the field trip notes. 

No problem Northern, would have been happy to give it to someone.  Glad you got one and on sale but wowser they sure have you digging deep for school and it is only the second darn day.

Need to go take out the one trellis and put up the other before the heat kicks in, then move everything again to the other side of the garage  and take a look at some more boxes out there. Wish the jet would get here quick so I don't have to do any of this 

We had light frost again this morning and it was so cold when I hung the laundry that the clothes were steaming on the line. 

  Frost??? This is early September. Is that too early for frost up there Northern?

Oil Rig on Gulf exploded this morning.  12 people in water one missing   

Green Eyes - my daughter would like the grey one and the black and white one.  She says she wants two so they will not be lonely. 

OMG     My daughter and I both want the little gray one also 

You can have the gray one, I am sure my daughter would be happy to have the black and white one and any one it its siblings.  Who ever has the jet can we fire it up and do a cat run to Green Eyes?

I just left this Joneser character who is DeDe's cousin a little tip over on Kyron's thread. I told him to get out of his parents basement for the day and go get some fresh air and sun,  geez, what a crack pot

Oil Rig on Gulf exploded this morning.  12 people in water one missing   

Green Eyes - my daughter would like the grey one and the black and white one.  She says she wants two so they will not be lonely. 

OMG     My daughter and I both want the little gray one also 

You can have the gray one, I am sure my daughter would be happy to have the black and white one and any one it its siblings.  Who ever has the jet can we fire it up and do a cat run to Green Eyes?

  That sounds like a good idea, and the little black one is adorable also, heck they all are 

Green Eyes did you want me to bring anything when we come by Jet?  How about some nice garden potatoes and carrots?  I have some really nice Saskatoon jam I made that I will bring as well.  It was a great year for Saskatoons this year.  Jet can come get me, do a quick stop in BC as my Uncle has been catching his daily limit of Sockeye since the season opened and he has some for me that I want to smoke, I am sure I can get a few salmon for anyone else who wants some as he has two freezers full already, then pick up No Rose and off to visit Green Eyes!

Sorry No Rose but rhubarb is done for this year.  I cut the last batch last weekend and made a strudel.  If we wait a week my apple cider will be ready and I can bring a carboy (60litres) of that along     My Buffalo berries are ready so I could bring a buffalo berry pie ?

Is there a mouthwatering monkey somewhere?

Wow you all have been busy in here - I have had Outlook email issues at work then I went to place a grocery order for delivery and the grocery store's website is down.  Yikes it almost feels as if the sky is falling.     Need to catch up.

Oh no, hopefully the sky isn't falling, hope you get those issues taken care of 

My email is still down but the grocery store website is back up and running, whew!

It is earlier than usual but has happened this early in prior years.  This morning was the second frost I have seen so far.  I am hoping there is not a hard frost till after the look weekend as I still have so much garden to get dealt with. 

Saw geese flying Sunday morning and that IS early.  Everyone up here is saying that we are getting a early and hard winter this year and by all accounts I believe them.  Hawks are going crazy fattening up, coyotes have been very aggressive, squirrels are hoarding and now geese gathering.

I love saskatoons and there was a bumper crop this year.  Kids and I picked two ice cream buckets full in under an hour.  Not seen many blueberries in the bush this year though.
