shopping?? did someone mention shopping?
I have been trying to find an outfit for a fancy cocktail party/ function that my hubs company is having...I really don't want to wear a dress...have a few more places to hit tomorrow when I don't have grand babies...sigh...I need to find it this weekend cause I need it by Tuesday of next week..

Fall is for sure in the air in our area! right now I think that it is 50 degrees or there abouts...

Trimm did you go to the doctor? If you did can I ask besides a shot if he gives you ear drops to help with the pain?

Ususally,he will give me a decongestent of some type,along with something like Flonase nasal spray.
He hasn't ever given me ear drops,just usually gives me a Ancef injection along with Decadron injection.Today he gave me some pain pills for my headache/shoulder. Now Sidekick gets eardrops occasionally,but I can't remember the name of the last he got.  I just know it had some type of numbing ingredient.They will usually send along some kind of  liquid pain meds if he needs it.
I hope you are not in a lot of pain.

Thank-you, he had given me Flonase, and can't use it, everything is so blocked up that there is no snot at all. I'm going to write that down and ask the doctor about those injections and see what he says, this is just nuts with this ear, it is all on my left side of my face like always  I'll bet it is the same numbing ingredient that my daughter said she was given once at the emergency room for a severe earache, she said the pain stopped so fast. Poor little Sidekick with earaches also, somehow the kids never got earaches when they were little, except an occasional one once in awhile. Hope your headache and shoulder feel better with the pain pills

NRCG  prayers your ear ache gets better. Do you mind if I ask did you go to an ears, nose and Thoart specialist this time?  Was thinking maybe they would have a better idea how to treat you ear infection. And why you are having such a hard time getting it cleared up.

Glad the wild weather has left you, hope it is not too hot by you. Hope your day is going well    That is what my husband said to me, when I go back next week to get my ears cleaned out, to ask to go to a specialist. Since we have a HMO the family doctor has to have it authorized, but this just doesn't want to clear up. My husband had one so bad about a year ago, with a sinus infection that they finally had to put him on some real strong antibiotics, the bottle was huge

NRCG,Today I got a Z-pack (Azithromycin) It is an antibiotic,and it usually works well.
Also I have tried the Flonase.Can't use it for very long.It dries me out too much.
I have to say Zyrted-D works well for me,but I just can not take a lot of allergy meds.It makes me crazy in the head!   
Maybe you will have to go through more than 1 round of meds.My sister and nephew never get well the first time around.
It is not good to take a lot of anitibiotics,but sometimes you have to have them.Lord only knows what we come into contact with in the stores ands such.   
Sidekick,well he has always been kinds sickly.Poor little fella,his asthma has not acted up much lately,but I pet him when he is here.

So I wracked my brain to figure out how to use your glasses and came up with these, if you want to use them. One has a planter I added, along with giving you falling leaves. The one without the planter probably makes your glasses show up more prominently. I hope you like one of these.

Sidekick, it is not fun be sickly like that as a child, allergies and asthma always had me down as a kid, and I always feel so bad when kids have to go through that growing up. I'm on my second Z Pack, will take the third pill tonight. Sometimes one pack will do but this time two was needed. I have done everything in my power to sneeze, even googled how to make one sneeze, tried all of it, including pulling a hair nose out  I've spent the last several days rolling up a piece of paper towels to a point and shove it in my nose to irritate it so I can sneeze    As soon as I sneeze couple minutes later it is all dry again. When I was a kid my nose never stopped running, what I wouldn't give to have a runny nose. Doctor gave me a prescription for Alegra, but it dries everything up too bad. Find good old saline nose drops to be about the best.

I have flonase but it's my vertigo. I use it once a day. Doctor told me it has steroids in it. Seems to help.
Poor little sidekick asthma is no fun.
Good news my youngest son and his girl friend will be here for Thanksgiving. But she is allergic to cats   Which means lots of extra cleaning

I have insurance, just need the doctor to authorize my visit, and I don't think there will be a problem. What I think is a huge problem is that my ears need to be cleaned out so going to have that done.

I'm glad the Flonase works for you, can't believe it has steroids in it, since I asked the doctor not to give me anything with steroids in it because I get a reaction, glad that I only used it twice    That is wonderful, hope she isn't too allergic, couldn't even say the word cat and horse when I was younger without terrible asthma and allergies. Hope it all works out well
