Hi Monkeys I am home  Just wanted to check in tonight. I am going to bed and iwll try and get caught up in the morning.  I hate flying  Sleep well and I will tell of my escapdes tomorrow.

  HI Brandi, missed all of you. Had loads of fun. Haven't seen Josef, they called Friday night that I got there and had to put him in the hospital and he was there for observation until his vet left on Wednesday night, then he went back to boarding. Luckily his real vet just charged me regular boarding charges.

Deenie, what a touching and well told story about Big Daddy.

I am not a cat person, so I have no advice for 4 Donks, but your story about Big Daddy touched my heart.

Such a sweet story about Timmy Deenie. I started crying when I was reading it. Glad your friend helped you out and he is a beautiful cat.

Donks..thanks!  I bought some Jonathan apples and my DIL bought some Galas...
We went to Edwards Apple Orchard in Poplar Grove...it is quite the family outing...you can pick your own apples, raspberries etc...we don't do that..although it might be fun for the oldest 2 grand daughters now that I think of it...My oldest and I did pick blackberries one year...she loved it..she ate more than she put in the basket lol!

The dogs are very interested in the cat  She is the only one that comes near the house. I've been keeping them in the fenced in backyard. It's It's 120' x 250' but they are learning to love it Every time they see the cat if I'm present I make them down and stay...no barking..hopefully that will become their norm.

Jonathans are my favorite..crisp and not too sweet. I always buy the donks apples in the fall..they chomp away and drool..not pretty but they love them and allow me to keep some for myself

Good Morning Monkeys! 52 degrees here this morning!!!!!  Now that's what I am talking about....nice and cool,the lake is so quiet and still.Pesky neighbors are still on vacation(wish it were permanent).Life is good!   
Digger and I have already been out for a walk.

good morning everybody!

boy did I sleep good last night after having the grand babies for the day..they were really good..the babies both took their naps at the same time so that was great! we went to the apple orchard with 1 of my DIL's in the late afternoon..that was fun..a beautiful day for it...then we went for ice cream..fun day!

thanks Trimm for liking my dress..the shoes that I bought to wear with it are really tight..I am taking them back today....darn it..hope they have a bigger size...

JSM...glad that you are back! can't wait to hear about your rendezvous!

His usual belly problems. The vet just wanted to keep an eye on him since they weren't too busy. He is concerned about Josef's unusual weight loss and we will need to keep an eye on that. Maybe a pizza or two will put some pounds on him. 

I had a great time in Chicago. Went to Mass at the Cathedral downtown and then drove to the casino in Indiana  That was lots of fun. Played golf Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday  It was so cold the first day and I am a horrible golfer. But it was fun. Oh and I went to KMart!  All our Kmarts closed down and I got a pair of jeans that are so cute. We had so much fun, I didn't want to come back home. I love Chicago and my sweetheart that lives there so very much.

Thank-you, the sinuses are livable, but it is that darn left ear    Doctor on Thurs, but my husband said he will take me to the emergie care clinic for them to give me something for the ear pain.  Hope you and the donks, and the cute kitty are all doing well today
