Respiratory and allergies to the point of death, if I ever walked into a place like that     JSM sorry if I'm being pushy with the Spanx, sounds like I work for the company     My daughter has some and loves them.

I am not JSM but you aren't being pushy. You are helping her with ideas on she can fit into her dress.
You are right Greeneyes, she isn't being pushy at all. I really appreciate No Rose's help trying to get me into this dress. It's either Spanx or lose another 10 pounds and that ain't gonna happen

I should screw one in and dim it and see what happens when I dim it.
I just read the caution warning on the new lightbulbs. Not to be used in emergency exit fixtures or lights, with photocells, electronic timers or dimmers. Doesn't say what will happen.

I guess you better not try dimming one then.
Thanks for the info.
Not a good idea.                JSM are you going to be married by a priest? I know how strong a Catholic you are, but don't know if a priest would hold a marriage ceremony anywhere but in a church. I don't recall when I was younger, but only remember priests marrying people in the church. But times have changed and maybe now they do.
No Rose, not being married by a priest. There are some annulment issues that need to be worked out first, then will be married in the Church. The annulment could take up to two years, so I will continue to go to Mass and not be able to take Communion. I understand why the Church does it this way, but it is really hard when you fall in love with someone you want to spend the rest of your life with and there are roadblocks and hurdles. It will happen, but unfortunately it is going to take some time to get everything done. So any monkeys, I would appreciate your prayers that it happens quickly. TIA JSM

You would be too thin JSM if you lost any more weight. We are doing better today. I have to go finish dinner. Hope everyone has a good evening. The spanx works well and you would be surprised how much it will help if they can let the seams out a little bit on each side. My daughter had to have that done when she got married.

JSM - I think it is so cool you met your honey on line - that is how I met my hubby - which is strange since we lived only a mile or so apart. Either way, it has worked out wonderful and yours will too. I am an end of November birthday too, so I know he must be cool!

Brandi
I swear I don't have a normal animal. Yesterday Mac (mastiff) went to the workshop with me and discovered a scrap of 2x4 about 2' long. This is a dog that doesn't play with toys, balls or stuffed animals but apparently this is his chosen toy. He has carried that wood with him and even slept with it last night. Told my sister I'll have to paint it to match the house decor.

This is Mac

Ut oh ....
Oh,  oh Mac
He is big and homely but is truly a gentle giant.

Mac had to show off his new toy to the donks first Wink
  That is great Brandi.

So trying to catch up, No Rose thanks for the info on the Spanx, all of you are cracking me up about hoarding light bulbs. Sir Diarrhea Pants is wanting to go outside. He is still on his medicine and continues to have belly problems.  I don't know what else to do. Hopefully will be back later. BTW No Rose, I get my bras at Walmart too when I can find them in my size. I can't find any other store that sells ones to fit me.

I'm really hoping it helps on top for your dress, I understand, my daughter has the same issue. And for some reason for some women they don't lose up there like in other parts of the body.

Prayers that it all works out. I may be wrong but if a person gets a divorce they can't get married in the church. We have a friend back home that got a divorce and she is a Catholic, and she can't take Communion. I don't understand why, just that it is what it is.

I agree with you Green Eyes, and hope you are having a good night  an angelic monkey  That is why on top the spanx should help, and if not there are also other body garments made, some are much more money but in the end it would be worth it so you can wear the dress. I don't think either that the seamstress would be able to take it out because of the beading, but you never know.

Yes, it is cool. I met my husband online in my IRC help channel back on ....drum roll please ....November 27, 1997. We are very happily married! (And neither one of us was "looking" for a mate.)

That's what happened with my daughter and Alan, and we live about 15 minutes or so from his apartment. He is in Afghanistan now, but she may move in there in Jan, when the two roomates he shares the place with go overseas, that way they won't lose the place.

So many women have bra problems, I'm a popular size so I don't have issues getting my size. My daughter gets one brand at Walmart but usually sends for some at Victoria Secrets, but they are too costly for me, not that I couldn't buy some, it is the principal    Poor Josef, I so know what he is going through, hope he feels better and settles down and is able to sleep.

Rose, you can get a divorce and remarry in the Catholic church, you just have to have the first marriage annulled. And that involves a lot of paperwork and even Rome! But, it can be done, and as JSM says, takes a long time.

How funny you will both have the same day of marriage. There are many successful marriages that start online.

Actually, we met in my channel online on Nov. 27. The next year, on Nov. 27, we met in person. The following year on Nov. 27, he came here to live with me from Canada. We planned on marrying on Nov. 27, but because of a political loophole for immigrants, we had to marry by April 30, 2001. So instead of getting married on Nov. 27, 2001, we had to hurry up and get married in April. But Nov. 27 remains a very special day to us Wink And I am sure it is a great date for JSM and her honey to get married!

JSM - I think it is so cool you met your honey on line - that is how I met my hubby - which is strange since we lived only a mile or so apart. Either way, it has worked out wonderful and yours will too. I am an end of November birthday too, so I know he must be cool!

Yes, it is cool. I met my husband online in my IRC help channel back on ....drum roll please ....November 27, 1997. We are very happily married! (And neither one of us was "looking" for a mate.)

There are many successful marriage between people who have met online!

Thanks for straightening that out, after I posted that I got to thinking that is what you meant, met online Nov 27.
