I can't stand Walmart clerks. They are never helpful. I wish I had a Kmart I love Kmart.

Me too, and there aren't any around here anymore 

They closed all ours down too. I bought the best pair of jeans at the Kmart in Chicago. Wish I would have bought more while I was there.

I remember when the one by us closed and the sales they were having trying to get rid of everything.

The closest Kmart is 20 mi away but they have the best garden shop around.

Lucky you. The closest one we have is in Abilene, about 4 hours away.

Glad the humidifier is here, hope it helps. When I used to get sinus headaches, I would eat horseradish out of a jar and it would burn like the dickens, but it would open my sinuses up and give me some relieve. Worth a try. That or Chinese hot mustard.

Has anyone heard from NR today?  I was wondering how her son was?  Also if JMS does want to post CC's name...let's call him LEO for now......instead of referring to him in various ways.  

JMS now that your secret is out....give the details!  Enquiring minds want to know.  Will you move to Chicago eventually or will LEO move to Houston?  How long before one of you move?

  LEO that is funny Sunny. Nope for right now he will be in Chicago and I will be here in Texas. He gets a lot of days off and so do I so we will see each other quite a bit until we decide what to do.

Hubs went to the ENT specialist and Monday he goes for a scan and Tuesday we find out the results..doc saw some infection but wants to see the scan before talking to us about it...so, Tuesday..

how are u feeling? sounds like you are better..

Poor little guy    Does he ever have to wear one of those masks like a doctor does when he goes outside. I had to when I was younger and it was winter, would get cold induced asthma. I heard from someone who emails her frequently last night that her son is out of the woods and eating his mom's chicken soup!

  Yes Mission CC, as in Casually Cool. How did it transpire? Email, he joked around about me going on a cruise with him next year and I said what the heck, sure I will go. Then more emails, phone calls, visits to Chicago and Florida and that's about it. I had a crush on him years ago, but never did tell him. Funny how things work out.

It really does work and opens up your sinuses. I have also heard ginger root will work too, but that is just too icky for me. Thanks for saying that we make a cute couple.

That is what I would have done. No way could I have skated out there, and since flip flops are the only shoes I wear that is what I would have worn, but still would have fallen.  That is the hard part where the two of you are going to live. You don't want to leave your family and he probably loves Chicago. The same when Alan gets out of the military, he doesn't want to live here and wants to live in Georgia, but I don't think my daughter will be able to take the heat and humidity, she is worse then me when it comes to the heat

I am going to post before I try to read to get the gist of conversation, otherwise I just read and rarely post as I can't keep up.

Sending a big thank you to those who educated me on steam mops.  I got one.  I used it today.  What a back~saver!!  OMG I love it.  4Donks, I can honestly see how you could use it each evening.  It is so easy and so effective.  PJ thought it was a new toy.  He has loved the vacuum since he was a puppy.........so had to work to help him understand that playing w/ this appliance could really hurt!!  He was good about giving up the game, but a little bit pouty.  Such a character!!
So here I am in my clean kitchen having a glass of wine and typing.
My baby brother (my mom was wheelchair bound from the time I was 9 and I was eldest / so by default the 'mom' to my 4 younger sibs) is having open heart surgery Monday.  I am trusting God to get him through.  He has been thinking he had a gallbladder acting up..............turned out to be heart attacks w/ moderate damage to heart muscle.   He is 12 years younger than I, how did this happen?  I love him so much.   I am planning to go to NC to be w/ him for part of his recovery period which will be extensive.  His wife's sister will be staying w/ them for the surgery and first couple weeks.  Their home is small so I will wait my turn.
JSM, what is this I catch wind of about your beau???  Fill me in!!!  It sounds SO romantic and wonderful.
I have been widowed 2X but someday I will tell you about the way I met Brian after Tom died.  It is a wonderful story, too.
I have been well loved, so being alone really sux.

  Tolerance prayers for your brothers surgery and know you are always in my prayers. You are never alone when you have us monkeys to rally around you and you have PJ. My beau as you call him was a monkey for awhile, then he misbehaved and got the button. The gist is I met him here at SM during the beginning of Caylee's case and had a major crush on him for years before he knew it.

I don't think you would have fallen No Rose, I think my coach helped him out on the ice or either pushed him.  The moving part is more work related than anything else. He has a good job, I have a good job and the economy sucks right now so it wouldn't be a good idea for one of us to relocate in this wonderful world of Obamanomics. Hope that makes sense.
