I am not Mission, and I don't play her on TV, either. As a result, it's not even 7 pm and I've started making trouble for my employers! Sent a few emails to the media about "iffy" budgetary concerns....after a local station did a story about us, I figured WTH, might as well give them the whole story! of course, I did it as anon as possible....but I've decided that if certain people in certain offices think I'm their own private punching bag, I will get my revenge, in a very public way. I go to meetings and ask uncomfortable questions. I tell uncomfortable truths. But, I do it on my own time, on my own computer, and above all, on my own IP. That way, even if the emails get traced back to me, the company can't say I used their resources to rat them out!

Oh, tonight's gonna be a good good night!!! I love stirring the pot!

Hi Monkeys,

Wow you guys have been busy.
Just got back from hospital with youngest grandson.  He was jumping around when he got off the bus and hit his elbow and took off a big chunk of skin. Was not sure if he just bruised it or fractured or what.  Had to get a tetanus shot.  Gramma had to go and hold his hand. They don't think it's broke just bruised, plus missing a couple layers of skin. Hurts like the dickens.

  Poor little guy, but it scared the heck out of you Greeneyes. I hope he is doing better today.

  I wish it wasn't the case, but sadly it is. I would move to Chicago in a heartbeat if I could find a job making what I make and the same benefits but I don't think it is possible.

Good Evening Monkeys...took me forever to catch up. JSM I finally found the flipflops. My youngest grandson is modeling the first pair. He was only 3 and fell in love with them. Hope they don't blow the page up.

NoRose how you feeling? I never heard how your ear cleaning went? that sounded funny didn't it.. I can't seem to catch up in JSM's cage.

I wanted to share this with you, I know you are having so many issues with your sinuses ..
This stuff works wonders for many ailments. And it it is great after a hot bath .. allows you to sleep sound. I did use it on my clients, with hot steam " massage" of the scalp/neck/shoulders - and Tootsies. Its called Blue Oil, made by Aveda. This is the way I look at it, by living apart and visiting each other here and there, you won't get sick of each other. Realistically after awhile habits of the other person gets annoying    And both of you have been living alone for awhile, and it would be hard to all of a sudden start living with someone all the time. I have never in all my life not lived with someone, but the thought is pleasant

They are the reason I am still here and get out of bed everyday. Each one of them have something that is unique to them and winds me around their little fingers. The youngest five spend one weekend a month with me.We have a ball and they stay up til the wee hours of the morning. Friday night they are all so excited to be together that they usually run and play. Then Saturday's we have a big breakfast. My 11 yr old, loves to have bacon, grits, eggs and toast. They tell me real fast they eat cereal at home and not at grandma's. Then we usually do some kind of crafts. In the summer the kids next door join us on the porch to do some kind of craft. And cook hotdogs on the grill. Winter time we make cookies or bake a cake. Sat. night is movie and popcorn night.  Anytime I have them all here it is wild not just at Christmas.And my son is a bigger kid than any of them.
Christmas Eve I usually have close to thirty for breakfast at my house and opening gifts. So there is never a dull moment when the family gets together.

Thank you Rose. I wanted me a little girly girl so bad and they are both Tomboys lol. Courtney likes to get girly girl at times but thinks nothing of throwing one of the boys down and wrestling in the dirt. Morgan loves to wear ball caps. hyave to hogtie her to put a dress on her.

  That's how I was also, loved to climb trees.

Me too ... I loved to climb trees when I was little. The dirtier I was from outside, the more fun I had .. and You could not put a dress on me either. The only girly thing I would wear though was omg " White Patent leather ~ Granny Boots"  They tied up the front and had a zipper up the side. That was when I was a " Blue bird" and had to wear my uniform. Skirt, vest and white dress shirt. I liked my Uniform though .. to me it wasn't a dress. Or I would wear a tartan skirt with a black or blue turtleneck .. or some awful plaid combo of pants and striped shirt .. 70's those were the days ..You could wear stripes and plaid and not be noticed.. You just blended in. How fun.

We got him a sling. I think he used for about an hour. It's sore but he seems fine playing video games. He took a big piece of skin off.  Thanks for asking

Yes that is good he is playing video games.  He is not thinking about his elbow which a beautiful thing ..  I am doing I guess. I am so ready for Fall. This weather break " no more heat" is a welcomed blessing. I am "thinking" though GE ..Its getting too cold too fast. We have had nights down to 47 ..and that is not a good predictor for Michigan Winter.
The leaves are all fierce green yet .. and nothing is falling yet so I am still hoping for an Indian Summer .. Mid 70's for awhile would be nice. 

Nights are 47  Deenie, that is winter, not Fall. I hope you get your Indian Summer.

Hi JSM, gosh that is terrible. I would have asked for my money back. I posted the flipflopsw for you.

It was awful and they are having another party today at 4 at a posh hotel. I really don't want to go, but guess I have to make an appearance. I am not a social butterfly and really hope my nephew will be there. I love him to bits, but he gets really bored at adult parties. I saw the flipflops thanks for posting the pics. Great idea. May have to go to Hobby Lobby and see what they have there.

Oh those were the good old days for sure. I was going through photo albums the other day and could tell you when the pics were made just by the clothes and hairstyles lol. I have climbed many a tree and spent many a day fishing with my dad. I went hunting with him once but held the dead rabbit all the way home and cried, so that was my last hunting trip. We had some of the best conversations just sitting and watching a cork bobble in the water. I sometimes wish I could take the kids and the grandkids back to the 50's & 60's when i was growing up.
We have had the hottest summer on record here in S.C. this year, but it is cooling down at night, but still 90's during the day. Plants in the yard are starting to get what we in the south call leggy, so fall is coming.

Darla, I did the same thing when we went quail hunting when I was a kid. Cried my eyes out when they shot that bird.  No hunting for me ever again.

Hi Monkeys Just got home from the wedding and horrible after party. They reserved a whole room at a restaurant/bar and the place let people take the space. It was awful and my BF told them if they don't give what she reserved we are going next door. They gave, but it was worse than where we were to begin with. I am tired and hungry. Hope all is well and will catch up tomorrow. 

That's awful JSM .. I feel sorry for the Wedding Party .. ouch.

It was awful and my BF told them if they don't give what she reserved we are going next door. They gave, but it was worse than where we were to begin with. I am tired and hungry.
