How's your wrist doing ? I haven't seen the pudgy cat today and she's not in either barn. The last time I saw her she was heading into the woods. I'm still putting food and water in both places. It has been miserably hot here and I worry about hydration with all the animals.

JSM  Sure hope you find the dog and it's owner.  Is it possible she just walks her dog there but doesn't live in the complex.  Hope you had fun at nephews 18th Birthday party.  Give Sir Josef a hug & kiss for me.

How's your wrist doing ? I haven't seen the pudgy cat today and she's not in either barn. The last time I saw her she was heading into the woods. I'm still putting food and water in both places. It has been miserably hot here and I worry about hydration with all the animals.

It seems to be doing better.  I can use it without hurting. 
I hope she uses one of the places you made for her babies if she has them.  It's good that you put water out. I know it's been hot here to.  Do you think we will get any fall? Or is it going directly to winter.

Hey 4 Donks how did your day go? 

I switched out the bush hog for the 12" auger and planted 6 flowering dogwoods along the edge of the woods to give me early spring colour. I have loads of wild cherry and native dogwoods but they are planted by wildlife and not where I'd want them. Also finished painting the office and will put it back together again in the morning. Early morning or early evenings are the only time I can exercize the dogs. They are up and out by 5 AM about the time I head out on barn chores and then in the evening I spend time with the donks. Try to keep busy.

Ya'll should head on over to Musings and see the picture of Klaas's new grand baby she's posted.  So precious.  Tears came to my eyes looking at the picture, bringing back memories of the joys of when my children were so tiny and new.  Aren't baby's wonderful?

We had no spring this year went from snow in March directly to summer. We really need a break from the heat.We are also in a drought situation now but had flooding in late winter.

We are headed for Florida for a couple weeks.  Need to go see MIL and get some stuff done for her. She is 91 and still driving and living alone. She figures she has a couple more years before she has to give up her driving and living alone.

My MIL died at 96 and up until 2 yrs before her death she was driving and traveling in Europe by herself. An amazing lady.

I was happy to hear that Josef is getting along well from his wounds.  I hope the woman (Not a lady) who owns the dog who attacked him is found and held to account for her dog's actions.

Good, too, that Joe is going to Texas A&M. It would be great if they found why he's losing weight and can treat him for it.  Maybe while he's there he can take a few courses?

That's amazing.  She sounds like she was a wonderful MIL.  We were worried when FIL died that she would have a hard time without him. She is doing wonderfully. They had been married  70 years when he passed.
