Hi Monkeys, last night I thought I would do something smart and give Josef wet/dry food mix to see if he would eat more. He ate more, but didn't wake me up in the middle of the night and had diarrhea all over the living room floor. So basically my day started off chitty  Poor baby, this time it is all my fault. 

Poor guy. Give him hugs & kisses for me. Poor you what a way to start the day. 

I will give him hugs and kisses. Horrible way to start the day. Got it cleaned up and used resolve, will have to get the steam cleaner out tonight and if that doesn't work the apartments will have to come clean it. Arrrggghh

Thank You JSM. We are thinking of stopping in Shreveport for a night and play some slots and thenwhen we come home to come back though San Antonio and spend the night and visit the River Walk. That's the plan anyway. Between now and then it can change.

Sounds like fun Greeneyes. I like Shreveport, haven't gone in years, haven't been to San Antonio in years either. Good luck on the slots and be safe.

We don't do the drive until we drop any more. Thank goodness.

I hope the steam cleaner works too. I only have the hand held kind, so I may call my friend and see if I can borrow her big one. Work is horrible, coworker's kid is sick and wanted to bring the sick kid with her to work. NOPE!!! I told her to stay home.  So more is piled on me today than ever.

JSM mix canned pumpkin in with his food to control his diarrhea. I had a boxer/mastiff cross with cancer and we had a terrible time with keeping his weight on due to the diarrhea. Get PLAIN pumpkin not the kind for pie that has spices. This pumpkin suggestion came from the vet oncologist.

4 donks, I have done that before and it did seem to help, but the last time he wouldn't eat it. I have a can in the cupboard if he won't eat that, then I will get a real pumpking and cut it up. He likes raw pumpkin. Sorry about your puppy with the cancer. I am really beginning to worry something bad is wrong with Josef.

No, like I said we did the same, the vet told us to add the wet food and it made her sick. If he enjoys the hand feeding then maybe that is what you should do, that way you can control how much he eats as well.

   Poor Josef.I know what you mean about the food.I always give the pups Kibbles and tiny bits.They do good on it.
I stupidy bought some Beneful the other day because the store was out of their food.
Taco threw up and and had gas.Eewwww.
Digger brought a mouthful in the den and just spit it in the floor.Then he knocked his food bowl over and started browsing in the bar cabinets.   
The diarrhea is the worst though....cat food induced at that!

Taco gets hand fed at breakfast every morning,he likes buttered toast with a little jelly.
