A lot of the people around here are so uptight it is frightening, and the other half are on Prozac in their own little world.     Be back going to eat a donut  don't need it, but will never turn down a lemon filled powder sugar donut.

    I'm skeered of heights, don't even like ferris wheels this will make you crazy if you are skeered of heights like me.

Terrified of heights, they had to stop a ride at Magic Mountain and let me off. One of the most embarrassing moments of my life 

I got stuck on the top of a roller coaster at Six Flags one time and they were going to make us walk down if they couldn't get it started. That was the last time I ever road one. 

I would have died from fright.

JSM...we are having a pretty good weekend...so far so good..
last night we went out to dinner with 1 of our sons and his family...2 grand daughters are delightful..
today we are going over to the new house to work...the plastering of the walls is complete in the lower level so the floors are really white powdery dusty...so we are going to vacuum that up and do some general cleaning  up of dust upstairs too...other than that we have no plans..
hubs is doing his errands for his mother who is almost 89 yrs old..still living on her own, praise God! she lived with us for 2 1/2 years and it was the worst time of our marriage....Not sure how much longer she can be in her apartment with out further help..her building is for retirees but she needs more help lately...she has someone who cleans for her and we do most everything for her but she is going down hill..
question:  why are old people so obsessed with pooping??? if MIL does not poop every day she is in a panic! Jesus...does anyone here keep track of it? don't ya poop when ya need to and not on a schedule? lol....

Glad you are doing well.          And here is your answering about pooping. I have never met an older person who isn't obsessed with their bowel movements, ever. My husband and daughters joke with me that when I get older I will be done talking about that, because with irritable bowel you tend to talk about that a lot. So when I get old don't think that will be my topic of choice  And try to take a purse away from an elderly woman, they tend to keep that on them at all times. It is not unusual at all for the elderly to talk about bowel movements, I would be surprised to find one who doesn't discuss it.

oh, I bought a box of the raspberry zingers and I have to say that they are my all time favs of zingers..

Hi Brandi    I'm afraid of heights, and when near something that is high I have thoughts of falling over and dying. I only met one other person in my life that also had this, where you can actually feel yourself wanting to jump or fall. It is a very frightening thing. The ride at Magic Mountain they had to stop, because I was trying to get out of the ride and I had no control over it. Needless to say I don't go on rides like that or go near the end of a cliff or anywhere where I get that urge.

That's an awful feeling  I could almost feel a pushing from behind and would have to get down on my hands and knees and crawl to safety. There is a place that we use to love to go and look at the ocean from the cliffs, no more of that

Morning Brandi, I watched it Friday night and then found the youtube link this morning. I was petrified when he unhooked the line and just walked up like it was nothing.

I used to enjoy or at least not be afraid of heights, but in my wiser, older years, am not comfortable up high. That was great photography and I cannot believe OSHA does not require safety belts up there. What kind of people do that work? LOL

It was interesting to watch though, and my stomach has since settled down.

I can't believe OSHA lets them do it without safety belts.  I think I have always been afraid of heights. Last night at the party it was on the 20th floor and we had to stand on the balcony to smoke. There was a wedding going on below and I looked down to see the bride and almost passed out. 

PS, just picked up Josef and gave him a kiss from you.

I used to live in a new highrise apartment when we lived in Manhattan. I was in 10^thgrade. We lived on the 27^thfloor. I loved watching the traffic/people below out of my window and from the balcony. LOL

I even opened my window once and sat on the windowsill. People from below started pointing at me. heh

Kids! We did dumb stuff as kids.

Don't know how that height would bother me today, but I suspect I would not sit in the windowsill today.

No Rose, I am like you feeling like you could fall off. I always am afraid doing my Christmas lights that I am going to fall off the balcony when I do the ones on the roof. I stand in a wobbly chair and have to hang over the railing  After the top ones are done, it is usually time for ML and a ciggy or two. 

Guess my Christmas lights won't get up Thanksgiving weekend, since I have other plans  Guess they will wait til I get home.

Found some Blue Willow dishes for sale on Craigslist, going out to meet the lady at Wendy's to pick them up.

It will be after 4 by then. Guess that's not too early for dinner too. LOL

Oh my, sitting outside on your window ledge. I can't even imagine the windows would open up that high.  I crawled on the roof of the house to sunbathe and couldn't get down and that probably started my fear of heights. Although I had a cousin that would crawl up on my grandads roof, run and jump in the pool. Stupid azz. Guess his fearless attitude is what led him to go in the Air Force  and join whatever their version of the Green Berets are. Funny thing about him, he was a big pot smoker as a kid and turned out retiring at a very high rank.

YVW for the kiss, I picked him up the other day and thought he had a bloody spot on his forehead. Turned out it was a kiss from one of the workers lipstick. And today a new guy started and ran out to my car and asked if he could tell Josef goodbye. Never met the kid before in my life, but he said that he and Joe played in the playroom and bonded. I thought that was so sweet.

  My Nana had Blue Willow dishes and even a beautiful tureen. I love Blue Willow. No 4 is not too early for dinner. Bring me back some Wendy's while you are at it please.
