I wonder what Kaine and Michael Cooks relationship was in High School.  Also, How many alumni from that HS relocated to the Portland area.

The only thing I ever read/heard is that they were friends in high school...and not even sure where I saw that. Maybe in one of the first vigil videos for Kyron. I'm not really sure...wish I could help you out more.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out they weren't friends in HS at all, simply acquaintances.  I went to school with a lot of people but wasn't friends with all of them.

I read in one of the articles(sorry, can't remember  for a link, they were both receivers on football team.

Cook was one of a few of Kaine's friends from high school who ended up moving to Portland. Kaine had tried to reconnect with him once Cook moved to Portland, but they never did until Cook showed up at their home after Kyron's disappearance.

Good grief.  They think I'm the mother and that someone else on here is DeDe and that's why we were so hard on JW.  OBVIOUSLY this case needs some new information because the general public is going a little stir crazy on the internet.  I'm off to discover new lands now.  Wake me when something breaks.

Can someone tell me if we ever knew why Roten stole a laptom from KH?  Didn't he work with him at Intel?  Could there be more to the story?

Blink just answered me about Roten.  She said she reported on it and there was no knowldge of it being KH's laptop.  I think I remember it being just a laptop belonging to Intel.  I could be wrong.  Am known to be wrong a whole bunch!  See ya'll after work.  Have a wunnerful day Monkeys!!!!!

Mosaic: There’s a Nancy and NancyS on this board. I’m Nancy so I assume you were addressing me in your above post. Therefore I am also assuming you were referring to my earlier post about the information below.

It is a fact that very early in the investigation my daughter told me that her co-worker (who uses the same gym Terri did on June 4) stated that LE had been at the gym numerous times conducting interviews, and that TH (who usually stays for around an hour) was only there that day for 15 minutes. I should also add the co-worker said LE spent a lot of time speaking with TH’s training partner (have no idea who that is).Is the information from my daughter’s co-worker true? Only LE knows for sure. I truthfully shared with this group exactly what I was told, and in no way (then or now) present the co-worker’s information as fact.

And I’m not so much angry as heartsick about Kyron. I just want him to be brought home to his family, as do all the thoughtful posters here.

I am aware of her training partner and that is correct.

BThis is certainly something I have thought about. But, who? Is this crime related to illegal cyber sex, child porn, drug trafficking, illegal marijuana grows, body enhancing drugs? Were Terri and DeDe (housewife-type) prostitutes for kicks? Makes you go Hmmmmm. Were neighbors under investigation? The landscaper and buddies? The school? The gyms?

Don't remember seeing this posted. Wonder if someone(s) way too afraid to come forth? They shouldn't be, but fear can be disabling at times.

Anyone who comes forth in this case will be scrutinized by world-wide media.  It's safe to say that the witness' life will not be the same ever again.

Then there is the court proceedings, if there is ever a trial.

The process a pain in the hoot, and a deterrent to gathering information.

I just hope that if anyone knows something about the case, to put their "house"  in order and then come forth, ready to face the heat. After all is said and done, the person will know that he/she has done the right thing.

 

There are other people that have been interviewed,, etc, and we don't know anything about them.  Plus LE has said that they are no longer saying where they are searching so that people don't have to worry.

I feel if an important witness cam forward, they would not be revealed.  At least until the trial.

Unfortunately, I think Casey Anthony and Jose Baez have done a lot of harm to investigations and people coming forward.  As a result of this diabolical team, we now have a new word--Kronked.  What a travesty of justice.

Also there are comments on Blinks about a data base, subscription access only, that very few people would be aware of or have access to, that had info on certain people, that the info has changed or been deleted since the investigation started..which I believe ties into the prior investigation before Kyron went missing.  Blink states that no more info can be given out about that data base.

Then tie that into Terri only being at the gym for 15 minutes on the 4th..not the hour she stated..tie that back to Kaine's statement of him saying he knows she was not where she claims to have been on the 4th.  Add in Desiree's comment that Kyron was outside the school that morning..seen by a white truck with a man..

I would like to know who ELSE did she send copies of the restraining order to (and why?)... why discuss it with her "newly" acquired friend? Why with him?

Why did she tell him how much her attorney costs? Why discuss it with him, in the way/tone in which it was discussed?

In the links during the time this was discussed, it was said that the RO contained Kaine's new address (which Cook got a peek of.)

So, the purpose for which she showed Cook the restraining order with Kaine's new address seems a little more sinister now.

 

I find it hard to buy that she didn't know MC before Kyron's disappearance. I think they may have met previously and had a relationship, or maybe just an online one. They seem to have shared an open attitude about sex. MC may have thought he was real slick getting on Kaine's Facebook while doing whatever with his wife. I think he, and a friend or two of his, was planning on helping Terri steal Kiara back from Kaine's new location which is why she showed him the RO with his new address. I doubt that she'd involve someone in this just on the basis of a short sexting relationship. On the other hand, it is possible that she saved her sexting talents to lure in people (like LS and maybe some of her other accomplices of either gender) she planned on manipulating in the short term, for something specific.

hi all... did anyone copy terris fb when this started... I had copied the posts I think but not the friends list, or if I did, I can't find it now...

what I am wondering ... was dede and terri friends on fb before kyron went missing?  it seems she would have been... but was she on there? 

I was so busy looking up something at the time and trying to get all the tweets copied I think I missed copying that, and also by that time dede blog poofed and I did not get that copied either?  did anyone else get the blog copied?

Well they met in 2002 at the 24 hour gym, so I would assume she was on there, but you know what assume means. 
Also dede is the one who planned Terri's birthday party in March of 2010, so the chances of her being on her FB prior to Kyron going missing, is a high probability.

PORTLAND – The father of missing seven-year-old Kaine Horman spoke to parents during a private meeting at Skyline Elementary School Thursday.

"It's going to be tough, but I think what they got planned for the first day and the procedures and things that they're working on, I think it's outstanding,” Kaine said. “I think they've made some big adjustments and it was a safe school before, and now it's probably going to be one of the safest schools in the state."

Granted, it could be anything, but it makes you wonder about Kyron's beneficiary status, also what, if any, life insurance they had on Kyron.
