Fantastic news….Norris (Or Mike as we knew him) caused us considerable financial harm when he rented our house in Aruba. Bills were left unpaid, the house was left behind in a shambles (Norris left without paying utilities ontop of simply not having paid the rent) plus he had made some very odd modifications, in that all internal doors had locks with dead-bolts fitted and the windows were screwed-shut. (Almost as if Norris kept people {women?} against their own free will in my house?). Norris has left a trail of deceipt and debts and I am pleased that he’s finally caught…sorry to understand that he clearly continued his trail of ruin, which must have hurt many more people besides just us.

Relieved that this man will not be hurting anyone anymore. We also rented out our house to Norreys “Mike” Whalen and he left us with a huge debt and a destroyed house. A background check did not reveal any red flags and since he came as a client of a well known real estate agency we rented our house in Aruba to him. We soon realized that this man was in strange business and immediately wanted him out. We went to court for the damages and won, but he disappeared, so where not able to execute the verdict of the court of first instance in Aruba. We exhausted all channels to avoid him fleeing the country, but unfortunately the local authorities did not share our concerns. It amazes me that someone like him is able to ‘hide out’ here in Aruba for over a year (at least) and Aruban authorities are unaware (or turn a blind eye?) to this fact. He overstayed his permit for so much time and financially victimized many here in Aruba and nothing happened. I imagined the local Aruban authorities would run a check on him like Panama did. Kudos to Panama and a job well done.

Beth Holloway is Back in Aruba

Beth Holloway is once again on the island where her daughter Natalee disappeared five years ago. This surprising trip comes after a visit to a Peruvian prison.

Snap shots were taken at the airport in Aruba Friday afternoon. They show Beth Holloway and some accomplices leaving the airport in a white van. Jossy Monsur is the editor of the Diario newspaper in Aruba.

He says, “She came from Lima to Panama to Aruba. What she's doing here we don't know.”

Thursday, Dutch media reported Beth was inside Castro Castro Prison in Peru with a Dutch journalist to see Joran van der Sloot. Beth's attorney John Kelly confirmed the trip. He says Holloway wanted Joran to know she isn't going away.

“She had a hidden camera. They interrogated her very briefly and then let her go. She stayed in Peru I understand in order to talk to the parents of the girl Joran murdered in Lima and after that I imagine now, she must have come to Aruba what she came to do we don't know,” Monsur says.

Beth Holloway is no stranger to the island, almost everyone living there knows who she is. Monsur says it's hard to tell how the people living in Aruba will take the news that she's back on the island.

“A lot of people that have sympathies for her and a lot of people who have no sympathies for her because they consider she did a lot of damage to the name of the island. So it's a mixed feeling here,” Monsur says.

Now, the mother of missing Mountain Brook teenager Natalee Holloway will stay in Aruba, on her continued quest to find out what happened to Natalee.

The Dutch crime reporter with Holloway in Peru is working on an in-depth story on the Natalee Holloway case. It's not clear if he is with Beth Holloway in Aruba.

So 5 years ago she was bar-hopping and more at 15 years of age.  Yes, she should be 23 now if she was 18 back in 2005.  Yet another Aruban underage and out of control.

On the CBS Saturday Early Show they had an international attornery named Michael Griffin.

He was a butt.

He said that if Beth wants to know where her daughter is, it is very simple; she should go to
the US Embassy in Lima and ask the embassy to negotiate with Joran's lawyer.

He said that he has been to Castro Castro and he can't figure how she managed to get to Joran.
It was an amazing feat. (Go Beth)
He said that Beth could be charged with witness tampering. ( I don't think she will be)

I am beginning to think all defense attorneys are asses.  I have heard all I want to hear from this one.

Joran is a DEFENDANT and NOT a WITNESS!  Big difference and he should know it.

I think it was JQK but am not sure as I have listened to all I can find on Beth's trip to Peru but someone said she first met with the HEAD of the prison!  There was nothing illegal in anything she did!

She left because the coward Joran wouldn't talk to her!  And not because she was "detained" or thrown out!

Three books on this can't be just a coincidence.  Someone, maybe AHATA, was promoting this kind of thing five years later to revise history on what actually happened.

Only Joran got caught in Peru doing it again.  And now Beth is reminding the whole world what really happened and that it is Natalee who is missing at the hands of Joran.

Beth is very brave to go back to that hellhole flyspeck.  I hope she suceeds in reminding the world that Stephany Flores would still be alive if not for the Aruban coverup and refusal to investigate and collect evidence against Joran in that first (that we know of) murder of his.

When is Aruba going to step up to the plate and admit what they did?  I'd guess never so someone has to admit it for them.

From all the reading I've done it seems to me that between the Carnival celebration every year (that goes on for months) and the Quinceañera celebrations; the youth are encouraged to start drinking and partying far too young IMO.  Those are just two examples...

From what I've read around in the social pages about a Quince party that took place after Oriana Mansur's, it was for Adriana Cohen Henriquez, some of the teenagers (boys and girls) were drunk and spent the night.  One teenage responder did say she was not allowed to spend the night, so at least there are some responsible parents.  But I think this is a prime example of the peer pressure...and natural desire to be included...also means drinking and partying to excess when they're too young to be doing that.  JMO

Just as we're reading about how a KNOWN fugitive from justice was allowed to live and continue his life of crime in Aruba for over a year unabated...Beth arrives in Aruba with Peter R. DeVries and comments about blacklisting her and/or him and not allowing them to enter the country?  So many comments about them paying for this or that (taxes) on any production they film while they're there...  Was John van den Hueval held to the same scrutiny when he interviewed Anita on Aruba?  Wonder if that group that was there filming (FOR MONTHS iirc) when Joran murdered again were held to the same scrutiny?

Just sickening.

ORANJESTAD (AAN): Some time ago DIARIO found information regarding the manager of the Holiday Inn’s Excelsior Casino and people have been calling out to ask how a figure with a criminal past of such an extent can be active in the casino industry of Aruba.

His name? Michael Posner, owner (or one of the owners) of the Brickel Hotel situated in front of the big hotels in Malmok. In the past he was arrested in the state of Illinois for violation of the Ricco Act (racketeering) and because he was also involved in the world of prostitution.

He was condemned to 10 years in prison, but apparently he served 8 out of the 10 years. He appealed his case and lost the appeal! After he was released he was on parole for 5 years. His name is also mentioned as an associate of a notorious family.

DIARIO knows that the government is at the height of such people, and asks how he can be active in the casino industry of Aruba. How did he find a permit to work in this branch with the background that he has? How has the Minister of Justice still not taken action against him? Now that his criminal past is known, what is the government waiting for to take him out of Aruba?

During the [election] campaign which recently came to an end, many comments and rumours were circulating regarding contributions to certain politicians, including those in the [current] government. DIARIO hopes that the issue of campaign moneys remain a rumour, because if true, then there are more politicians for sale than is [already] apparent.

The presence of Michael Posner in the Aruba casino industry, with the criminal past that he has, does not speak well of the judicial control system, nor that of National Security, nor of those in charge to check the background of those who work in the tourism industry of Aruba.

This is the damage that one person with such a bad reputation, who was incarcerated during 8 years, who is associated with a notorious family in America, can cause to the tourism of Aruba.
