Respectfully, this attitude that only Terri or Dede or possibly Jason could be involved is getting a bit old..
I think there are many players involved in this case - I am guessing Terri is one of them, but I think there are others..
Some of us want to explore possibilities of others being involved..
If we get it wrong, fine.. its just our opinions..
If you dont want to discourage people from lateral thinking and exploring other possibilities I think you should lay off this attitude..

You have got to be kidding?  I discouraged YOU thinking that Stanson was Stensen and it was just proven that Stanson is incarcerated PLUS they look nothing alike.  I was right.  It was wrong to think they could be the same person.  STENSEN has spoken with LE and the Grand Jury. There is no reason to believe he is involved at all.  No more so than any other teacher or parent that was at the school that day.

It is my job to stop BS from being posted here in a missing persons case.  When I see something is WRONG, like Stanson, I have to say something.

Apparently someone spent a lot of time putting together a HUGE list of sex offenders and their places of employment etc. It is right there on the web, so it is not like it has not been seen before. It might be useful in other cases.

Thanks for that info - I can only get into the second link - so does that mean he is working for webay 4 u or does that mean he is incarcerated in jail?  The way I am reading it he is NOT incarcerated - he is meant to be out working for webay 4 u and on probation - but maybe he is not?  Maybe like lotsa sex offenders he ducked the radar?

This year, as always, his blended family will host two birthday parties, one in Medford and another in the Portland area. They'll dish out chocolate cake, play his favorite tunes, read heartfelt cards and release bunches of red balloons to celebrate his favorite color. There may even be a few gifts.

But the birthday boy himself won't be there.

Kyron Horman, who was born eight years ago Thursday, has missed several milestones since he disappeared more than three months ago: Father's Day in June, the first day of school this week and now his birthday parties.

His parents will host them anyway.

"Regardless of where he is, I'm going to celebrate the fact that we brought him into this world," Kyron's father, Kaine Horman, told The Oregonian. "It will be hard him not being there, but we're going to do something that he loves to do."

That includes listening to "Abracadabra" by the Steve Miller Band, "Say" by John Mayer and "Fireflies" by Owl City -- three songs that will be played at his party in Medford, hosted by his mother, Desiree Young, at the West Main Church of Christ. That also includes putting around a mini-golf course at the Family Fun Center & Bullwinkle's Restaurant in Wilsonville, where a second party and fundraiser will take place Sunday.

They found the porn in 2008 and he is just sentenced in April of this year? Geez, that is depressing. I wonder if he was out on bail the whole time? Anyways I would imagine that he was taken into custody the day that he was sentenced.

Upon completion of the prison term, Chief United States District Judge Fred Biery ordered that Stanson be placed under supervised release for the rest of his life.
On August 29, 2008, federal agents executed a search warrant at the defendant’s residence where they seized four computers and three external hard drives containing child pornography. A forensic analysis of the computer equipment revealed the presence of more than 3,000 images and approximately 150 videos depicting child pornography. Stanson pleaded guilty to the charge on April 15, 2010. By pleading guilty, Stanson admitted to using peer-2-peer computer software to distribute the child pornography via the Internet.
This Project Safe Childhood case was investigated by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Assistant United States Attorney Tracy Thompson prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.

My guess is the only radar he will be ducking are the other prisoners.  Awe too bad. What a shame. I hope they don't have private showers there.

I am just plain angry tonight over how people choose to treat those who are helpless and unable to defend themselves.  He's just lucky to be alive and get 3 squares a day and a roof over his head.

And I agree with Klaas this guy looks nothing like David Stenson.

Respectfully Grey, This is not a joke case! I don't think it's ok to dis a Monkeys opinion and make a joke of it. Every Monkey has a right to post their opinions and thoughts on the case.

I was not trying to be funny. Too many times I see posters jump on similar names without checking further into age, location, etc. I've seen faces compared when there is little more similarity than the fact that there are two photos of faces belonging to two different people. Links are given to questionable sources as fact.

If someone is to be discussed in an open forum, some basic fact checking should be done before presenting an opinion; otherwise, let wild speculation rule.
