Why apply to come here legally?   Setting the stage for millions of 'refugees' to flood over the border on an annual basis?  No returns?

Sounds a lot like Mexico, fueled by an unsecured border and the lure of the welfare state.

Canada has a legal obligation under the Conventions Relating to the Status of Refugees and the Convention against Torture towards refugees from such conditions, including these Tamils. The Convention against Torture enjoins Canada -- without exception -- not to return a person to a country where there is such a risk.

By setting the stage and keeping the lighting lit, and not doing anything to secure the border, stop the flow of drugs, human trafficking, and violence, will any illegal alien ever be returned home?

A free pass on the border highway to the welfare state? 

Destroying the American Dream for millions of Americans?

The violence/drugs/human trafficking allows illegal aliens to avoid the long immigration lines?

Obama sends just 600 to the border and they provide no meaningful barrier to those who run across?  They just alert the border patrol?  If you're an illegal alien you get a free "get out of jail card" and welfare?

Life isn't that good if you are a citizen.  No "get out of jail cards" or welfare.
