Obama's Lesson In Tolerance

Why didn't Obama use the Ground Zero Mosque issue as a teachable moment?

Why didn't he promote tolerance and diversity?

I listened to him speak and didn't hear him suggest anything like the following -

- The US isn't part of the Borg or Global collective.

- We are a nation with many diverse groups, many opinions, and our citizens have the RIGHT to their own opinions and to express them.  Crosses in urine, burning flags, or burning books...

- Sometimes, you have to grow a really thick skin, it's helps everyone get along.

- Where does the retaliation based on the free speech expression of others end?

- What is more horrific, burning thousands of people or one book?

- What is more horrific, stoning one woman, or burning a book?

Last time I heard, we in the US are not part of the Borg or global collective and can have a diversity of views and opinions.

Why didn't Obama teach on diversity?  Multiple points of view?

Tolerance?
